Jungkook went into the intensive care unit to see his mother, checked all her vital signs were normal, then exited.

The head nurse, Sister Song, saw Jungkook visit every hour and couldn't help but say: "Dr.jeon, you can be rest assured, we're all watching over her. We'll be sure to tell you straight away if something happens. You don't have to constantly come back and forth."

"Sister Song, I'm not worried..."

As Jungkook was about to explain, Sister Song laughed and interrupted, "I understand, we all know how filial Dr. Jeon is."

Jungkook smiled embarrassingly, "I know you're very busy, I'll be going back first."

Once Jugkook returned to the duty room, Eunwoo similarly returned from the ward soon after.

"Are you on the day shift today?" Jungkook asked Eunwoo in surprise.

"I'm not, but that kid Kai asked me to cover for him. He said he wanted to watch a movie with his girlfriend," Eunwoo said. "Besides, I'm just a lonely bachelor who sleeps in the dormitory, so here I am."

Jungkook laughed as he listened to his Eunwoo's response, saying: "I used to cover for you when you dated."

"Who was I with before again? That was when you and Jeiun..." As soon as Eunwoo mentioned Jieun , he remembered the situation. "By the way, just now Jieun called me and asked how aunty was doing. I told her the operation was successful."

"Oh!"

Eunwoo saw Jungkook's cold reaction, and became uncertain: "You didn't want me to say?"

"That's right." Jungkook g looked at Eunwoo in the eyes and said, "You don't have to tell her about my situation in the future, nor do you have to pass on messages to me for her."

"Don't be so decisive," Eunwoo advised. "You've been with her for years. I've seen how much you like her."

Jungkook looked down and thought for a while. He knew he had no intention of backing out of the situation, nor did he regret anything. He also knew he wouldn't be able to hide this from his good friend.

Jungkook looked up towards Eunwoo and said in a serious tone, "Woo, I'm married!"

"What...what??"Jungkook looked so serious there was no way he was joking.

Jungkook g talked about what happened in the Civil Affair Bureau on July 7th from beginning to end.

"Are you kidding me?" Eunwoo didn't want to believe the extraordinary story he had heard.

Jungkook opened his desk drawer and the little red book was still inside. When he brought it to his parents previously, he left it in this drawer. He grabbed and gave it to Eunwoo, "It's right here. Look at it."

Eunwoo took and opened it; the time, place, characters, stamp, and even the texture of the book was realistic.

"Did you really pick up a wife off the street?" Eunwoo couldn't help but raise his voice.

"Keep your voice down," Jungkook frowned and said. "My parents don't know about this. They think I married Jieun. Fortunately, they never met Jieun either, so it didn't matter they met someone else."

"But what were you thinking?" Eunwoo was confused. "How can you marry some random girl? Aren't you afraid of being cheated?"

"How am I going to get cheated?"

"You own a house, a car, a savings account, you're a talented student of the Medical University, and an excellent young doctor in our hospital. Countless little nurses outside want to jump you!" Eunwoo said. "Who's this Lisa? What do you know besides her name? her educational background, job, where's she from?"
