Oh no! Peter's half moon necklace has stopped glowing! What happened to him and Layla? Has their blooming relationship really died?
The Pevensies return to Narnia and things aren't the same. Even things with Peter is different. Great controversy ar...
We arrived at the Telmarine castle near the afternoon. The Pevensies, Caspian and I rode on our horses. Aslan walked in front with Caspian. I rode Glimmer in front of the Pevensies as usual. Peter and Susan then Edmund and Lucy followed with the rest of the Narnian army. The townsfolk waved and cheered and I smiled. It had been a very good, memorable experience for an end of a wonderful time here.
I looked back at Peter. His moon was finally glowing again and mine blinked back happily at his in response. I could not be any happier knowing that our love was still as strong as the moon's halves.

I slipped on a soft, sleeveless blue dress. It was breathable and flowed nicely around my legs.

Peter and Susan walked in as I attached my weapons to my side.
"Bringing your weapons to another ceremony as always, eh?" Susan grinned.
"Of course," I returned the smile. "Someone could murder you guys!"
Peter grinned. "Always a dutiful Guardian, and a beautiful one."
He pulled me towards him and kissed me.
I smiled. "And taken by a courageous, magnificent, High King of Narnia."
He kissed me again.
"Alright," Susan piped up, grinning. "Remember, Aslan wanted to speak with us."
I looked at Susan but I didn't let go of Peter and he didn't remove his arm from around my waist.
"He did? Did he say why?"
Susan shoot her head. "No, he just said to meet him in the courtyard in a few minutes." She replied.
I glanced at Peter before following Susan out the door. We met Aslan outside.
"Morning, Your majesties, Guardian," Aslan greeted us.
"Sir? Is something wrong?" I asked.
Aslan smiled softly at me. "No, but there are matters I must discuss with the three of you."
We followed him through the courtyard hallway. He told us of how our adventures in Narnia were drawing to a close and so was my duty as Guardian.
"You will have one more duty here and then you will return to your world," Aslan informed me. "Your duty as Guardian may be over in this world but the Guardian must live on in yours. You cannot return after your last job."
I felt like crying and I knew Susan was close too. Peter squeezed my hand.
"What about the moon?" I asked, not bothering to cover the fact that my voice was cracking.
"The moon will not stop its glow no matter how far away the halves are, as long as you do not forget why you came here or what you have learned here."
He looked at Peter. "There will be more trials of the moon coming your way but stay strong. The moon will not loose its power if their owners do not stray from their destiny."
Peter swallowed.
I looked down. "What if I don't want to go back?"
The Pevensies looked at me confused but Aslan just smiled knowingly at me.
"Be brave, child, and do not let others change you. I will be supporting you," He assured me.
"Have no fear, you all will return. Some day," he told all of us.
We shared a look then Aslan spoke.
"Your Majesty?"
We all looked at Caspian, seeing him standing a few feet away. Caspian eyes studied us but I didn't bother to return the look. I just studied the ground.
"We are ready, everyone has assembled," he told us.
He turned back to us and we continued walking.
"Sir, what about Glimmer?" I asked.
"She will continue to serve Narnia but for Caspian. Her powers won't be as strong as they were with you and she will age like a normal horse now and die a normal death. When you return for your last job as Guardian, she will aid you," Aslan informed me.
