General Glozelle rode back to the Telmarines. "To arms, Telmar! To arms!" Catapults started launching giant boulders at us.
I produced two green orbs, and vines wrapped around my arms.
"Susan, get ready!" Peter called up to her.
She nodded.
"Cavalry, charge!"
The mounted soldier began to approach us. The boys stood on each side of me with their swords out....waiting. Then Peter looked at me.
I slammed the green orbs together then threw it at the ground in front of the Telmarines.
"Archers to the ready!" Susan ordered her archers. The archers loaded their bows.
Two large cracks started from the spot the and travel in opposite directions to form a giant circle.
"Archers take aim!" Susan ordered.
"Get ready!" Peter shouted.
Once the Telmarine calvary were on the circle, I snapped my fingers and the ground collapsed instantly, taking the men and their horses with it.
"Fire!" Susan exclaimed and the archers released their arrows.
The arrows arched through the sky and rained down precisely on their targets.
"Charge!" I yelled.
The Narnian army and the boys followed me into battle. Edmund vaulted onto a moving horse and rode around the pit shooting the soldiers with a crossbow. I drew my sword and with my invisibly attacked several Telmarines. Glimmer fought alongside me using her magic to assist me.
Peter kicked down one soldier and rammed his sword down on another while Caspian and the other Narnians attacked from behind. "Charge!" Caspian commanded the troops as they circled around and cornered the Telmarines in the pit. Trufflehunter threw himself at a Telmarine, knocking the man back into the pit. Another Telmarine tried to climb out, but he was met with Reepicheep in armor.
"You're... a mouse," the Telmarine exclaimed, bewildered.
"You people have no imaginations!" Reepicheep threw up his hands in exasperation then slew the guy.
I smiled and continued to fight. I crossed blades with a few more men, fired my arrows at others to trap them, and fire my orbs at others. I shot up stone pillar to blast still other Telmarines into the air where our archers would shoot them. Honestly, they made great targets.
Another command from the Telmarines was heard and a hundred more foot soldiers lead by General Glozelle advancing towards us. It was the next wave.
Caspian noticed and sent a signal for their next wave. Griffins carrying archers flew down from the top of the How and over the Telmarine army. However, the Telmarines brought out large crossbows loaded with arrows especially for griffins and shot at them. They had done their research and griffins began to fall one by one and we were losing, quickly.
"Bring me the Guardian," I heard Glozelle say to one of his men. "Let's see how far the high king will bend."
I shook my head. This would be Peter's last trial for relighting the moon. I hoped he passes.
"Back to the How!" I heard Peter yell.
Everyone ran for the How.
"Cut off their escape!" Lord Sopespian called.
Two Telmarines loaded a cannonball and launched it. Still more cannonballs flew through the air and crashed around the How sending up debris of dirt and violently shaking the ground. I felt the world spin as this threw off the How's structure drastically.
Up on the ledge, Susan called out to the archers. "Brace yourself!" Suddenly, a cannonball struck a crossbeam that lay on top of two pillars and sent it flying into the How's door frame.
With a rumble, the door collapsed, covering up the entrance and falling on the Narnians that were just entering the How. Luckily, Peter skidded to a halt and watched in horror as the How crumbed. However, Susan fell with a scream off the ledge. I managed to make a ledge come up to break her fall but that was the last thing I remembered. A sword hilt came out of nowhere and struck me across the head and my world became dark.
