"hey, are you okay?" jake knocked on the cubicle's grey door, after haneul had ordered him to check up on the raven boy who had hid himself into the bathroom for more than a good quarter.

"I'm fine." sunghoon weakly replied, sitting up on the toilet as he looked at the t─shirt on his hands. no, there was no way he'd go out wearing that thing again, but unfortunately he forgot to bring a second one with him.

"uhm...jake?" he called for the boy's attention, who immediately replied with a hum. "do you...uhm, do you have a second t─shirt with you?"

jake frowned from the other side of the door, yet replied with a coherent "yes". sunghoon hesitated, but he was in great need of that t─shirt, and jake was the only one he could trust the issue on for the time being.

"can you please come in?" the sound of the door unlocking echoed in the empty room, as jake harshly gulped before he opened the door, his eyes almost popping out at the image of the shirtless boy with the wet hair.

"oh my─" "I know, I know, but I really do need that shirt and I was hoping you could─" "hey hey, calm down."

jake looked at the cloth on his hands, seeing how it was wet and yellowish, wondering what could have caused such accident. yet, he lost no time in asking for him to stay there and wait for him to come back.

sunghoon nodded, closing the door once jake left and leaning his back on the cold tiled wall. coldness creeped up his whole body, making him shiver as his head bumped into the wall.

"why." tears made his eyelids dance as he tried to restrain the need of letting them fall. a moment or two passed, as a knock on the door made him wipe the salty water off his cheeks before opening the door a little.

what he didn't expect was for jake to pull it wide open and enter the small space of the cubicle, making the boy stick on the wall as he looked at him.

"we need to talk."

haneul tapped her foot multiple times on the concrete floor, waiting for her best friend and her crush to finally come out with him safe and sound.

jake had just re-entered the bathroom with something hidden in his puffy jacket, but her being worried sick about sunghoon didn't allow her to further investigate it.

the big door opened, sunghoon being the first one to walk out as his eyes immediately fell on her small figure. she was pale, as if she has just seen a ghost, and her hands were trembling.

haneul opened her arms and trapped him in a tight hug that both him and jake didn't expect. she felt his hands as they wrapped around her waist, his chin placed on top of her head as she smiled.

"I thought something really really bad happened to you, everything went on so fast and I couldn't enter the room, so I asked for jake to help me and─"

sunghoon shushed her with light taps on her head and a hand caressing her back. "everything is fine, please don't worry so much about me."

"it's hard not to." she reasoned, both chuckling as she nuzzled in his chest more, jake silently watching the two with a proud smile.

they seemed genuinely happy and blessed with each other's presence, someone could easily mistake them for a sweet couple, the way sunghoon fondly tightened his lock around her before they both locked eyes with a big smile sharpening his breathtaking features.

but someone wasn't happy with the two of the close proximity and the big smiles on their faces, and jake was all aware of their presence, therefore his smile vanished.

jungwon had his eyes glued on the two youngsters hugging, feeling his insides burning. this wasn't a part of his initial plan, but could he control the way haneul would react?

well, at least one of his main goals was successfully achieved, as the boy was being shown with a finger for the rest of the day, the next one too. in a weird way, it put his heart in delight.

stopping by his locker, he extended his hand to unlock it, but a hand was quick enough to slam it close again. he looked over to the right, where heeseung had leaned on the locker next to his, hands crossed over his chest.

"what?" he asked with an annoyed look, slapping his hand away as he attempted to open the small door once again, before heeseung put his hands on his shoulder and made him face him.

"I know that you did it." he hissed out, the younger chuckling as he poked his inner cheek with his tongue. "no shit sherlock, sadly I ain't the one giving awards off."

"yang jungwon, this is getting out of control and I will by no means allow you to reach that extent of hating the poor boy."

an evil laugh, which made shivers ran down the older's spine. "poor boy?" he spelled out, shaking his shoulders as he stepped closer to the brunette. "are you probably siding with him hyung?"

"at this point, yes." he admitted, not really minding to tell the truth when his friend is not the one he used to be anymore. at this rate, jungwon was no one but a stranger.

"may I be honest with you, I don't give a fuck about your opinion." "huh?"

jungwon smiled. "you heard it right. I absolutely DON'T care about what you and jake believe, by giving me advice, false hopes and whatever."

he took one more step, trapping the older between his hands in a locker, as he brought his face near his ear for only him to listen. "this time, I'll act in my own ways, and don't you dare do something to stop me."

he pushed away, fixing his jacket and saluting. "I warned you hyung."

heeseung was left frozen, but his ability of talking was still present, making sure that jungwon won't get away with his wicked words.

"yang jungwon, shame on you and your sick mindset! hope you will soon realize how fucking wrong you are!"

jungwon slowly turned around, with a laugh of pettiness ringing his lips. he then gave heeseung a death glare, one that made the older suddenly feel so weak under his stare, that he shrunk in his current position.

"doesn't it feel good to be bad, hyung?"
