"welcome back!" sunoo greeted the brunette boy that walked in the room, a big smile on his face. he let the bag hanging from his shoulders fall to the ground, the thud making the dozing off girl on the couch flinch.

"thank you for picking me up hyung." jungwon said while bro hugging the tall boy leaning on the door frame, he with his turn smiling at him with his hands automatically wrapping up his body in a tight hug.

"we missed you so much!" heeseung whispered in his ear, feeling the boy smiling on his shoulder as he tapped his back and let go of him. sunoo also walked up to him and trapped him in his embrace.

"where is she?" he asked, the other two sharing a teasing look before the blonde pointed to the living room, as jungwon sped up and found himself in the said room, hands gripping on the door frame while looking inside.

"wonie!" haneul jerked up from her laying position, spreading her arms on each side and warmly welcoming the boy. he couldn't help but grin at the sight of her, tightening the hug as tears fell down his eyes.

"I missed you." she whispered, kisses being planted on her cheeks from him mixed with her tears. she met his eyes that were also red and puffy, followed by a bright smile beaming his face.

"I missed you more." he replied in the same calming tone, lifting her up and spinning her around. "it was tough in america without you guys. I'm so glad that jay hyung was there for me."

"speaking of him, how is he doing? he hasn't contacted us in a while." sunoo said, sulking at his own words. with a giggle, jungwon sat down with haneul still on his hands, leaning back on the couch.

"that's it because our jay hyung grew up." he couldn't help but laugh at the looks of confusion around him, even mrs kim noticed how quiet the filled with people living room went.

"what's jay up to?" jungwon grinned from ear to ear before clapping his hands together. "our beloved hyung is getting engaged next month, let alone how he's been busy with the fashion industry him and his dad opened just a month ago."

everyone gasped at the unexpected news, feeling happy for the young boy who used to invade their houses out of nowhere and talk nonstop about his favorite designers.

"but...ain't he a little too young to get engaged?" sunoo questioned out loud with his forefinger tapping on his lips, receiving a smack at the back of his head from heeseung. "ouch─that hurt you know?"

"you seem to forget that the three of us are the same age, huh? twenty two is a decent age to get engaged, besides he's not getting married yet." he said, as haneul smiled at the way her older sibling pouted and punched nonstop heeseung's shoulder.

"my babies grew up so fast." mrs kim suddenly spat out, haneul chuckling sadly as she stood up and hugged her mom. "don't worry mom, we still are your babies." "right, you two are my forever babies."

"haneul." jungwon suddenly called, beckoning for her to follow him out of the crowded room. she stood up and walked up to him, heeseung keeping an eye on both of them from behind the curtain.

"let's go somewhere." he said, taking her hand in his and pulling her down the yard, as she spoke no words and simply nodded at him. soon, both of them were walking side by side down the road, a comfortable silence taking over them.

jungwon held a bouquet of flowers on his hands, more specifically roses as white as the snow and ─ after haneul squinted a little to see better ─ small dandelions stuck here and there.
