"Niall, your actual Christmas present is ready for you to open," I said to him  as I entered our room.

Niall and I got home three days ago from Ireland. We were both quite jet lagged.

"Let me open it," he said, reaching his hands out like a child.

"Hold on," I said. "I know you would've gotten this for yourself, but I wanted to get you it even if you didn't need it,"

"Can I open it now?" He asked.

"You can,"

He began tearing off the wrapping paper and saw a brown box. He ripped off the tape and tore open the box.

Inside was the new iPhone that launched recently. There were also some charging cases that I bought for him as well.

"When were you able to get this?" He asked me.

"I'm not sure how I got it," I shrugged. "It was the last one in stock so I bought it,"

He got off the bed and went into our closet. I heard a draw open and close and then he returned with a wrapped box in his hand.

"Open it, you'll laugh once you see what it is," he said handing it to me.

I opened it and inside was the same thing I had gotten Niall.

"You've been complaining how your phone sometimes doesn't work, so I got you a new one along with the same kind of cases you got me,"

"How did we end up getting each other the same thing?" I asked him as I took out the small box that contained the new iPhone.

"I have no idea, but I guess we both have new phones without thinking we would," he laughed.

"Is it already set up?" I asked him as I took out the phone and turned it on.

"It isn't, but I can help you set it up as I do mine as well,"

It was now the day we had both been looking forward to.

New Years Eve.

Niall and I were going to a new years party tonight that one of his friends had put together. I was very excited about it to say the least.

Maybe not as excited as Niall was, but still excited.

"Hey bub?" I asked Niall as I came out of our closet.

"Hmm?" He asked lifting his head up from his phone.

"How long do you think we'll be at the party?"

"Not sure, why are you asking?"

"I'm just trying to figure out if I should wear a dress or just wear some of my normal clothes," I explained as I climbed on the bed next to him.

"I know we'll be there for awhile, so maybe wear something that you're comfortable in," he suggested.

I sighed and cuddled closer into him. "What have you been looking at for the past hour?"

"I've been talking to fans on Twitter and Instagram,"

"Anything interesting?"

"Not really, no. But they keep asking about you," he smiled.

"I'm guessing you're not answering any of them,"

"Do you want me to? I can,"

"I don't care if you do, but I like knowing that it's still not confirmed that we're together and have been for a while," I laughed.
