It was now June and all I can say is that it's been a wild couple of months. After I finished filming in London at the end of March, I came back to LA to finish it altogether. I've started another project and I am due to finish it within the next month. And my birthday is in two days!
Since getting home from London, Niall seems to be very distant. I mean we still hang out as much as our schedules allow us to, but he still seems like he is trying to stay away from me. I wish I knew the reason as to why that is.
As of right now, Mariah and I were hanging out at my house. She may be my make-up artist, but she is honestly my best friend.
"When are we gonna start getting ready for your party?" Mariah asked breaking the silence.
Mariah decided to throw me a party this year for my birthday. She wanted to keep it a surprise, but she is really bad at keeping any kind of surprise, big or small.
"What time did you tell people to show up?" I asked.
"Around 8,"
"Then let's start now, I still don't know what I should wear and I need you to do my makeup," I said getting up from my spot on the couch and rushing up the steps.
I made my way into my room and walked into my closet. This was going to be hard. I have to find something that is cute, but also looked like I actually tried to look nice. Maybe i shouldn't have waited until the day of to choose what to wear.
"Do you want a dress or not?" Mariah asked once she entered my closet.
"I'm not entirely sure yet," I stated continuing to look at different options.
"I'll pick out some options and you try them on," she suggested.
"Okay," I nodded as she began going through my clothes.
"Try this on," she said handing me a simple black dress.
I grabbed it from her before going into my bathroom to change into it.
Once I had it on I looked in the mirror. I had to admit that it looked pretty good, but I don't I should wear it tonight.
"I'm not feeling it tonight," I said to Mariah when I showed it to her.
"It looks good on you though," she complimented. "Here's the next one," she said handing me the next option.
I did the same thing and showed Mariah what it looked like on me.
"Looks amazing, but too dressed up for tonight," she said.
"I agree," I said as she handed me the next outfit.
