Aliyah

"Niall, you have to stay in bed and rest," I said to Niall as I saw him exit our room.

"It's lonely in there," he pouted.

"If you want to get better then you need to rest,"

"I'll rest on the couch, I don't want to be alone all day," he said curling up on the couch with the blanket from our bed.

Niall had gotten sick a few days ago and he's been the most annoying. Not only does he complain constantly that he doesn't feel good, but he won't listen to me when I tell him what will make him feel better.

For example, right now. I tell him to go lay down in bed, but instead, he comes into the living room.

I keep trying to give him soup and crackers, but he won't eat them. I honestly don't think I've seen him eat all that much for the past few days.

"Come cuddle with me," he sniffles.

"I'm busy," I said as I continued to clean up the kitchen.

"Please," he begged.

I thought about my options here.

I could either go and cuddle with Niall and take a break from what I had been doing or I could finish cleaning the kitchen and then move on to cleaning the living room.

I decide on going to cuddle with Niall.

"You better not get me sick," I warned him as I lay down on the couch next to him.

"I'll try my best not to,"

I should've known that I was next.

Niall had gotten over his little cold and ended up giving it to me in the process.

I had been sick now for 3 days. I was miserable.

While Niall was sick, he had a stuffy nose and had body aches. It only took him a few days to finally feel better.

I on the other hand had been throwing up every once in a while, had a few body aches, random headaches, and was hungry but also didn't want to eat at the same time.

I don't know how I had the worst end of the deal than Niall had.

"At least eat some crackers," Niall said trying yet again to get me to eat something.

"I don't want to eat," I complained.

"You haven't eaten all day, Liyah. You need to eat," he said brushing the hair away from my face.

"I'll throw up again,"

He put his hand on my forehead to feel if I was still burning up. "You don't even feel warm at all,"

"Well I feel like shit, so I'm definitely sick,"

"I believe that," he said trying to make me feel better.

"Can you go get me some water?" I asked.

"I can do that. Do you want anything else?" He said getting up from the bed.

I shook my head no in response and then he left our room.

After he left, I tried to eat one of the crackers he had left beside me. I brought one to my mouth and couldn't eat it. The smell alone made me not want it at all. I set the cracker back down and tried to not feel as nauseous. Nothing seemed to help and I could feel myself needing to throw up.
