Hi, so I really procrastinated on this chapter..... I'm sorry. When I originally had the idea I thought it was great and I wanted to start on it immediately, however, things have been crazy (and it sucks that we don't talk that much)! So, not waiting any longer, here is the chapter!

Warnings- Sadness, homophobia and violence mentions

Reader's POV- Modern Au

I finally made it home. My hair disheveled. Tear streaks down my face. Every aspect of me feels broken. I look at the time 9:42 PM. I walk right past the kitchen, to my room, not Maria's where we often sleep. I look at myself in the mirror. I'm a mess. Bloodstains on my hoodie where I had used it to wipe off my knee before hiding myself in its warm embrace. My eyes puffier and redder then they felt (not to mention the lighting did nothing for my complexion). My eye was already swollen, I could hardly hold it open. The most heartbreaking, was my shattered (insert sexuality. If you're straight, put polyamorous, considering this is a Poly ship) pin, with a word on it I couldn't bring myself to even think about, written in Sharpie. I couldn't take it anymore. I broke. I started to shake with sobs.  I fell to the ground hugging myself. I was crying so hard, I couldn't catch my breath. I saw the world go fuzzy, then dark.

---

When the world started to go back into focus, I saw Eliza looking down at me.

"This is an odd change in perspective." I joke.

"I was going to ask if you were ok, but you're obviously fine." She smiles and moves out of the way.

"Can I ask what happened?" Maria asked.

"I don't want to talk about it. If you must know, my pin should say it all." I explain. I see them examine the pin on my hoodie that they took off.

"Oh, honey! I'm so sorry! Do you know who it was? What did they look like?" Maria asked.

"I can't remember. I was so paralyzed by fear that I couldn't think."

"Well, I definitely think you need to stay at home for a few days. Not just to physically heal, but also emotionally heal." Eliza supplied. "You're lucky I'm a nurse, or else you'd have to go to the hospital."

"Thanks 'Liz."

"I know, why don't we have a few days just to ourselves. A little something to clear our minds." Maria suggested.

"I'd like that! We haven't had a vacation in a while!" Eliza cheered.

"That sounds fun!" I agree.

"I think we should start this off with a movie marathon!" Maria said. "Suggestions in 3...2...1...GO!"

"Star Wars!"

"Disney!"

"Marvel!"

We all shouted at the same time. When we realized what we did we all started to laugh.

"Why don't we just watch the first thing we see?" Maria suggested.

"Sure" Eliza said.

I love my girlfriends! They will always cheer me up!
