Day 4 of JOHN LAURENS WEEK!!- "Mon Chaton"

Hi, so since I've been a little focused on Miraculous Ladybug right now, I decided to do a Miraculous Au. I you don't already know what Miraculous is here is the basic things you need to know. The Miraculouses  are magical jewels, which can transform the wearer into a superhero. they are powered by magical beings called Kwamis. The two miraculouses in this one are the Ladybug, and Cat miraculouses. The Ladybug has the power of creation, activated by the phrase "Lucky Charm", this randomly creates a useful object. The Cat has the power of destruction, activated by the phrase "Cataclysm", this makes the first thing he touches turn to ash. Since they are superheroes they can't reveal their identities. They fight a villain called Hawkmoth, who can send out evil butterflies (called akumas) that give normal people power when they are feeling negative emotions. If this doesn't make sense, you can find the show on Netflix (the episodes are out of order, so start with Origins), or you can look it up on YouTube. LET'S GO!

(Reader is referred to as Ladybug (still gender-neutral), John as Chat Noir. This is set in Paris, France.)

Modern Miraculous Au- (Y/n)'s POV

Me and Chat Noir just defeated another Akuma. After I detransformed, I got back to the park where I was supposed to meet my friends before the attack. I sat on the bench, sketching a random idea that popped in my head, when a shadow loomed over me.

"Wow, that's really good." I turned and saw Chat Noir.

"It's nothing. I'm just trying to find something to do while waiting for my friends. We promised to meet here, then the akuma attacked. I'm starting to think they stayed home." I sighed.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Who are you waiting for?" He asked sitting on the bench next to me.

"You probably don't know them. My best friend, Alexander Hamilton, my brother, Gilbert de Lafayette, my brother's boyfriend, Hercules Mulligan, and John Laurens," I felt myself blush when I said his name.

"What's wrong with that John person?" He asked sadly. "You seemed so enthusiastic about everyone, but him."

"Why would that matter to you? You probably don't even know him!" I tried to not let him get suspicious. Chat Noir, has always been very flirty when it came to my alter ego. While I have little romantic interest for him, I still don't want him thinking my civilian form was lovey-dovey, and boy-crazy.

 "I happen to know John fairly well! I'm just curious why you don't seem to care so much about him compared to everyone else." He said, still looking fairly upset.

"Are you kidding me? How do I possibly think that I don't care about John? I think John is the most wonderful person ever! He is so sweet and kind, and funny. While also standing up for what he believes in! How do you not love someone like that?!" I rant, then I realize my mistake and blush. "I swear, if you say a word of that to anyone, I will make Hawkmoth akumatize me and I will end you!" I threaten.

"Woah, woah! Calm down. Wow! I wouldn't think that you could get all defensive like that! You sound like Ladybug, when they get mad!"

"Why, would you ever compare me to Ladybug? I mean, have you seen them? They are 10x braver than I could ever be!" I say, trying to protect me secret identity.

"I wasn't in any way implying that you were Ladybug, if that's what you were saying. However, I do see a familiar gleam in the eye that resembles theirs." He smiles.

I look down so he can no longer see my eyes. I didn't know what to say to get him off my tail. Then, Alexander saved the day.

"(Y/n)!" He called, I looked over to him.
