Hi! I'm Layne (they/them) and this is just a collection of random one shots that I wrote. I may not be the most active, since I'm not supposed to read fanfics let alone write them or have an account. This book will include Hamilton the Musical. All...
Soulmate au where both you and your soulmate die at the same time, and there is a count down to when you'll die. Also soulmark au where your soulmate has the same image tattooed on them.
Modern Soulmate high school Au- your pov
I get up and check my timer. Three years. It's weird knowing your time is limited. I get up, and as I get dressed I look at my soulmark in the mirror. Placed right on the pulse on the right side of my neck, is a simple (favorite color) book, with a deep blue spool of thread, printed on the open page.

(Put those together and you have the soulmark)
I put on some black jeans and a t-shirt from my favorite musical. Then I grab my backpack, slip on some shoes and walk to the bus stop.

First period, math. I pretend to listen, but in reality I'm struggling to stay awake. I knew I shouldn't have stayed up binging musical "slime tutorials" on youtube last night.
Once the bell rings I turn to the tall man sitting next to me.
"Excuse me, but did you possibly take notes on the lesson?"
He seemed shocked that I even spoke to him then replied, "Uh, yeah actually. Do you need to borrow them?"
I nod. "Thank you, so much! I barely got any sleep last night, so it was kinda hard to focus."
He gives a small laugh and replies, "Well maybe we could meet after school, and I can help you out some."
I nod again, "That sounds awesome! I'll see you later then? Let's say in the library, once we get out?"
"Sounds like a plan!" He smiles, and I walk to my science class.

The dismissal bell rang and I ran to the library to meet the guy from math class. I may not be the biggest fan of math but if it means I get to see him again, then I'll gladly learn about those stupid formulas.
When I walk in I see him pulling a notebook out of his backpack at a table in the corner. I slowly walk over to him and whisper, "Hey."
I see him rush to put up the book but I noticed a few sketches in it that seemed to be clothing designs. "H-hi (y/n)."
I was slightly surprised that he knew my name, but I shrugged it off with a smile. "So what did I miss earlier?"
"Uh, well for one you missed the fact that we have homework due tomorrow on what we learned today. You missed learning three different formulas. You missed me trying to talk to you and finally you missed the fact that I saw your soulmark." He blushed at the last bit.
"Ok, so what does the last two things have to do with anything?" I ask confused.
"Do you really want to know?"
I nod, and he sighed. He grabbed my hand and walked me to the bathroom (which by the way this is a gender neutral bathroom) and led me inside.
"The thing about your soulmark is," he took off his shirt and turned around, "It matches mine." I looked and he was right! On his right shoulder blade was a simple (favorite color) book, with a dark blue spool of thread on it's page.
"So you're my...." I start, but never finish. "Wait! Can I see your timer?" I ask kindly.
He frowns then nods and shows me his wrist, "3 years, 2 months, 15 days, 1 hour"
I feel tears running down my cheek, "I'm sorry." I start sobbing.
"It's ok, babe. It's ok. Just think. We have three years to be with each other." He says as I feel his tears tap the top of my head.
"Why don't we forget this math homework? Maybe go out, and live some? I mean come on! We have three years and I want to do everything! Especially with you!" I smile.
"Let's go." He says as I grab his hand pulling him along with me and running, not to return.
A/n- So, that was not where I was originally going, but it got somewhere. So thank you for reading! Seriously, I can't thank you enough! I don't really get many votes or any comments, but when I need cheering up I check my demographics page and see that I have people reading this in places all over the world! This is a dream come true, because honestly, I never thought anyone would read this! So thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
