JOHN LAURENS WEEK- PJO Au

Ok, so last John Laurens week chapter! Let's get this done!

Percy Jackson Au- John is Apollo cabin, reader is Athena Cabin

Warnings- weapons, fighting, flirting

(Y/n)'s Pov- Modern PJO Au

"Ok, red team! Gather around," Malcom, the Athena counselor called. "Everyone know their typical positions? Good! First line, advance!" He called out orders.

Me and my ten troops fanned out into the woods. I was on the far right side. I kept walking, dagger and shield in hand, ready for combat.

After a while I had relaxed a little, thinking this would be a good place to take out blue soldiers.

Then all of a sudden a arrow soared right past my ear. I drew my dagger and called, "Who is this? I am fully prepared for an attack."

"Why do you think I'd ever attack you?" A familiar voice responded.

"Why would you shoot at me then, John?"

"To get your attention." He said as he jumped out of a low tree branch.

"Well, you know you aren't Eros right?" I laugh.

"Who?"

"Greek version of Cupid. He shoots arrows to make people fall in love."

"Well, he has already sent a volley after us two, hasn't he?" He smiled.

I blushed. "So, why haven't you attacked me? We are on opposite teams? What were you saying earlier? 'These redcoats don't want it with me.'"

"You know, I should ask you the same thing. I know how competitive you get. I'm surprised I haven't been taken hostage!"

"Cupid's arrows make you do dumb things sometimes."

"Oh, so you admit it?" He jokes.

"I don't know. Doesn't the fact we've been dating for almost a year do enough for you?"

"Oh no, it does! I just want to hear you say the words."

"Ok, fine." I say, as I step closer. I stand on my tip-toes to whisper in his ear. I see him slowly close his eyes and contently smiling. I grab his hands. "I....got you!" I say as I seize his hands from the back. I take off my belt and use it to tie his hands together.

"Wait, WHAT?!" He calls. "I thought you weren't going to sell me out! (Y/n)!"

"What can I say? You said I was competitive! That was true! Now, I will let you go, if you cooperate! If not, there will be consequences!" I threaten, still not letting go of his tied hands.

"What would those be?" He smirks.

"Nothing you want to find out about. Now, I am going to search you for weapons." After finding nothing I say, "Ok, now, where is the blue flag?"

"Good question. I don't know." He was still smirking.

I slapped him. "Listen, if I lose, we get stable cleaning duty. I am not cleaning the stables! Besides, we already agreed to do a lot of people's chores so we could get them on our team. Now, I know you know where  the flag is! Tell me, or I will not speak to you at breakfast for a week, understand?"

He nods, scared. "I'm sorry! It's by the little creek. You can take me with you. They won't attack if they see you have me hostage. I know how much the camp ships us."

"Ok, I'm going the ignore that last part. Now let's go get that flag."

We did exactly that. We went straight there, grabbed the flag, and headed back to my base. We had little people try to interfere. When they would, me and John would get all sappy, to distract everyone.

When we got to the red team base I asked the head councilor of Ares cabin to hold John for a moment, while I declared victory for our team.

"THE WINNERS HAVE BEEN DECLARED! ATHENA CABIN HAS WON TODAY'S GAME OF CAPTURE THE FLAG!" Chiron called.

I dropped the flag and ran to John. "I did it! For once I actually did it!" I cheered as I hugged him.

"I'd hug you back but I'm kinda tied up here."

"Oh, right, sorry about that!" I say as I undo the belt around his wrists.

I resume hugging him. "I love you!"

"I love you too." He whispers.

We share a kiss so deep that we can  hardly hear the cheers of the campers around us.

Well! Congratulations! We've made it to the end! John Laurens Week is officially over! This was extremely stressful for me, but I think some of these are on my top favorite chapters!
