(Y/n)'s pov- Modern High school AU

Well another day of school. Another day of saving my friends' pants then they run off and abandon me for the rest of the day. Don't get me wrong I love them, but I feel like they don't care anymore (which double stings since I have a crush on both of them). It's stupid Jefferson and his boyfriend Hamilton! They always pick on Sam and Charlie. Now matter how many times I scare them off (thank you green belt!), they always seem to come back. Then Sammy and Charles start arguing and ignore me. Once I had to stop them from getting into a fist fight when they were paired up for a project in English class.

"You okay (Y/n)?" My brother George waved his hand in front of my face to get my attention.

I shook my head to snap myself out of my daze. "Yeah, I guess."

"Well that means no." He observed. He picked me up and walked me to his car, placing me in the front seat. He took my backpack and instrument and carefully placed it in the back seat. Once he sat behind the wheel he asked, "Ok, so what's wrong? Someone picking on you? Something happening to your friends? Love troubles?" He winked on the last one, but still looked slightly concerned.

"Yes," I simply responded.

He frowned and asked, "Who's picking on you?"

"Hamiltrash and Jeffersh*t."

He scowled, he knew who they were. Jefferson was the class president for the current juniors, and Hamilton was his boyfriend and vice president. Luckily, he was the student body president, so he had more power (I don't know how student council works so this is my rough guess). "Okay, and what's going on with your friends?" He asked, trying to calm his anger.

"Well Charles Lee, and Samuel Seabury, have been arguing a lot especially when I'm around. Also they've been ignoring me. Despite how many times I save them from those jerks. To make matters worse I have a crush on both of them!" I yell almost in tears.

"Oh, I'm sorry (n/n). If it helps I can talk to them tomorrow, and see why they've been fighting." I nod in response.

★The next day! Lunch! George III's pov★

I walk into the cafeteria, searching for the two boys. Then I noticed instead of sitting together at their normal table with (Y/n), they were sitting with two different groups. Charles was sitting with the theater kids (John Laurens, Marquis de Lafayette, Augustus Waters, Jason Dean, Connor Murphy, and Will solace with his half siblings and boyfriend). However, Samuel was sitting with the science nerds (Jared Klineman, Caleb Prior, the Baudelaire siblings, and Annabeth Chase with her siblings). I debate with myself on who to approach first. Then finally decide to go to Samuel.

"Hey, Samuel, may I speak to you?" I say very professionally. He just gave a meek nod in response and walked with me out of the cafeteria.

"What's going on between you and Charles?" I ask trying to stay polite.

He blushed momentarily then paled. "Well, first of all, please don't kill me when I say this. I kinda have a crush on (Y/n)."

I was slightly shocked, "Like my sibling?"

He nodded then continued, "But, Charles likes them too, and to complicate matters, I also like Charles."

I frowned, partially worried, partially let down. "Well I just wanted to say that (Y/n) was thinking that you two hate them, since every time they're around, you fight and argue and ignore them."

He looked down, "I-I-I d-didn't m-mean to." He said, his voice cracking.

I was upset that I caused him to break down like this so I came up with an idea, really quick. "Hey, how about you go chill somewhere? I know a secret closet in the auditorium that no one ever goes into." He sniffled and nodded yes.

After I walked him to the closet it was my turn to speak to Charles Lee. I slowly approached the theater kids table, trying not to alert them while they were singing about "Making redcoats redder with bloodstains" or whatever, from their Broadway obsession.

"Charles Lee? May I speak with you?" I say politely.

"Ooh. Who are you? Who are you? Who are you? Ooh, who is this kid? What's he gonna do?" The theater kids all chorused.

Charles stood up nervously and mumbled, "This will be fun."

We walked to the same place I had talked to Samuel at. Then I said smoothly, "So I heard you and Samuel Seabury have been fighting." He gulped and nodded. "From what I heard you two were fighting over my sibling (Y/n). Apparently you both have a crush on them, but rumor has it you and Samuel also have a slight thing for each other."

He tensed up, "Wh-where'd you h-hear th-that?"

"Around." I smirked. "Although if you think fighting will win them over you are mistaken. In fact they were extremely upset that you two were fighting and ignoring them." The look of guilt increased on his face. "How about this I know a nice quiet, private place where you could think about this for a little while, ok?"

He quickly nodded and followed me to the same closet I had led Samuel to. When we got there I shoved him in there quickly then blocked the door so they couldn't get out.

I ran to find (y/n) and explained the situation.

"So, you locked both of my crushes, who both like me back and also like each other, in a closet in the auditorium and you're asking me to go in there to settle things out."

I nodded vigorously, "Yes, so come on!" I grabbed their hand and ran back to the closet. I opened the door enough to where (Y/n) could get in, then I slammed the door closed again and blocked it.

★45 minutes later★

It was almost time for the next class so I had to go let them out. I went to the closet, unblocked the door, and opened it.

When I looked in I saw all three of them sitting on the ground leaning on the wall, asleep. Charles was on the outside curled protectively around Samuel, and Samuel was doing the same to (Y/n). I also noticed that (Y/n) wore Samuel's shirt, Samuel wore Charles's and Charles wore none. Luckily they were all still wearing pants, however from what I could see they were not buttoned. Their shoes laid scattered around the room and their hair was a mess. I finally decided to close the door to give them privacy. I'll ask them about this later.
