Poly! Maria X Peggy X Reader

Ok, so I wanted to write one of these for either Maria and Peggy or Maria and Eliza. I had asked you guys to vote on which one you wanted back in the Drarry Cosplay  chapter, but got no responses, so I'm doing both!

Modern Au- (Y/n) POV

Warnings- None

I woke up, got ready, and walked downstairs to get breakfast. Again, I was ignored by Maria and Peggy. This has been going on for a month and a half! Seriously, we live together, how can they ignore me!

I went to work. Then at my lunch break I went to the park that Peggy and I would always eat lunch at. Now she goes across town to eat with Maria.

After work I ran some errands. When I walked past the make-up isle I saw the exact shade of red lipstick  Maria always got. Now she just shares a simple lip gloss with Peggy.

I got home and the first thing I see when I walk in is Peggy and Maria cuddled up against each other on the couch watching a cheesy romance movie. They still didn't notice me. 

That's when I broke.

I had kept this pain of seeing them together for almost half a year now! I have kept this pain of them ignoring me for a month and a half! I couldn't take it anymore.

I tried to keep myself from crying, but despite the fact there were no tears, my body shook with sobs. I ran up to my room as fast as I could, not wanting to ruin their moment and not wanting them to see me like this.

Maria's POV 

"Hey, Pegs?" I asked my half asleep girlfriend.

"Yeah, Ria?"

"Did you just see (Y/n)?"

"I heard them come in, but never actually saw them. Why?"

"I'm pretty sure I heard them crying. I definitely saw them run to their room."

"And you just SIT HERE?! MARIA AMELIA LEWIS THEY COME IN CRYING AND RUN OFF TO THEIR ROOM AND YOU DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT GOING TO SEE IF THEY ARE OK?" Peggy stood up on the couch yelling at me. "We can talk about this later, now I'm going to check up on them, and I suggest you do the same!" With that,  she marched upstairs.

(Y/n)'s POV

Knock, Knock, Knock.

I tried wipe my eyes and stop crying for a second and couldn't.  

"(Y/n)?" Peggy called on the other side of the door. "(Y/n)? (Y/n), are you alright?"

I refuse to answer. I refuse to let her see me like this.

"(Y/n), can I come in?" She peeks the door open to see myself, a sobbing mess on my bed, hugging my pillows. "Oh no! What happened? Are you ok?" She said sympathetically while walking towards me, then turned almost violent. "Who do I need to hurt?"

I tried to suppress my giggles, but I couldn't.

"See! You're already cheering up!" She smiled hugging me, before sitting on my bed and saying. "Now, will you try to tell me what's wrong?"

"It's nothing, just love troubles." I sighed.

"Sweetheart, 'nothing' and 'love troubles' are the exact opposite. So, who's the dummy who doesn't want to date you?"

"Well, there's two of them."

"And neither one wants to date you?! What world do we live in where there are two people who are dumb enough to not want you?!" She says incredulously.

"You see, in that lies another problem. They are dating each other. I see both of them every day and for the past month or two, they've been ignoring me! I haven't done a thing, and they act like I'm a ghost of some kind!" I say letting out more sobs. Maria was here now, her hand over her mouth gasping.

"Oh, I'm so sorry! What could we do to cheer you up?" Peggy asked.

"Peggy, I think they are talking about," she paused trying to grasp the information, "about us."

Peggy gasped, "(Y/n), is this true? Did we do this to you?"

I turned away not wanting to answer that and break her heart.

"(Y/n), please tell us!" Maria begged.

I sighed then whispered, "Yes, I was talking about you."

They both looked heartbroken.

"I'll go ahead and pack my things. I can call John or Laff and see if I can stay with them until I find my own place. I'm sorry." I said, standing up.

Peggy grabbed my hand. "(Y/n), the reason we ignored you is that you seemed so distant, so we thought it best to give you space. Though, when you walked in and started crying, we realized we made the wrong decision."

Maria grabbed my other hand. "I think I speak for both of us when I say, we love you (Y/n). We always have."

They hugged me and whispered at the same time "I love you, so, so much." After they pulled away they each gave me a gentle kiss on the cheek.

"I love you guys too." I said with tears in my eyes, then went back for another hug.
