Chpt 76: Surprise Calum!

Elena's POV
I walked into office 48 with my box of work. I had my black high heels on and strutted into Kelly's office. "Kelly I want my job back" I said. "Elena you can't just strut in here and demand that you get your job back" kelly said. "You must've not heard me" I said as I shut the door and locked it. I walked towards her. "Give me the office block next to Calum's, it's empty I know it" I said. "Actually, it's been filled. we have a new worker" kelly said. i shot her a look and then unlocked the door walking out. Kelly followed me quickly as I walked in. nobody was in the office. "Bullshit" I said. "She'll be arriving with her boxes soon, not everyone arrives a half an hour before we officially open" Kelly said. "Then I'll wait here" I said sitting on this 'new girls' desk. "Fine, but when she comes, your leaving" Kelly said turning on her heels and walking out.
Anna's POV
I was late again. Michael had let me sleep in. I parked my car quickly and got out shutting the door. I locked it and shoved the keys in my pocket. I checked me phone. 10:30 already. we opened at 10. I headed towards the door and herd someone. "bullocks, you stupid piece of shit" a voice said. I turned around and saw tons of boxes with items spread all over. I hurriedly walked over and got down helping. "Thank you" the girl said. "I take it your new here?" I asked. "Yeah, I am. my name is Alexandra, Alex for short" she said. "Well Alex, my name is Anna. I work on floor 48, what floor are you on?" I asked. "I'm on floor 48 as well" she said. "Well, I'll show you up then" I said as I grabbed a few boxes. the door was locked and my key card was in my pocket. "How are-" "Give me a second" I said as I backed up. I lifted my leg up and slid the bottom of my heel through. the door opened up and then I held it as Alexandra walked in. she was a fairly tall girl with long black wavy hair. she had bright green eyes and was about my size. "Wait here with these" I said setting the boxes down. I walked to the storage room and grabbed two carts. we stacked up the boxes and then pushed them into the elevator. "Are we aloud to-" "Trust me, I'm not going to get you kicked out on your first day" I said. the door opened and we walked out. Alex walked next to me and took out a paper. "What room/cube" I asked. "Room 214, cube 6" she said. "That's my room, I'll show you" I said as i pushed the cart down. I helped Alexandra into the room and Blaire was there. "The boys are getting everyone drinks, whose this?" Blaire asked. "I'm Alexandra, but you can call me Alex" she said smiling. "Are you taking cube 6" Blaire asked. she nodded and then Elena walked in. "So your the bitch who is taking my job" Elena said. "Back off" I said shooting her a glare. "You deserved it, I've done my research about the area and this building. real classy, sleeping with the bosses husband" Alex fired back. Blaire and I let out a small laugh. "You bitch" Elena said going to swing a punch at Alex. I was about to yell but Alex ducked and then kicked the back of Elena's knee causing her to fall. Alex put her arms out to block her body and put her combat boot on Elena's stomach. "Fuck" she said. "Don't make assumptions about 'newbies' because you never know there background" Alex said. Alex held out her hand and helped up Elena. "Well, I've had enough horsing around, have fun with this stupid job" elena said. "I will, Oh and make sure you have fun with no job" Alex said waving by and smirking. "That was awesome, I'm Blaire by the way" Blaire said. "Alex" she said. We unpacked and then Ashton, Michael, and Calum walked in. "Whose this?" Ash asked. Alex turned around and she locked eyes with Calum. once Calum saw Alex he dropped the drinks on the floor. they went all over. "Shit" he said as he quickly looked down. I looked at Blaire and she shrugged. "Alex come with me, we'll get new drinks for everyone" I said taking her arm. we walked out and Kelly came out of her office. "Ah, Alex I see you've met Anna. she's one of the best workers on the floor. I presume your going to show her around the floor and give her the ropes?" Kelly said looking at me. "Yes. we are heading to the café. Calum dropped all the drinks, such a klutz" I said. Kelly laughed and agreed with me. "that he is, you girls have fun, it was nice meeting you again Alex" Kelly said going into her office. "Don't worry about Calum, he does that around every girl that's pretty" I said. "I don't think that's why he dropped them" Alex said. "Why else would he?" I asked as we took the stairs down a level. "Cal and I have had some history, I was at his work when they came down under. my dad insisted that they transfer down. he wants me to find a good guy and settle down, even though I'm only 21" she said. "Are you the girl that Calum was rum-" "Sadly yes. we've never met until my dad arranged everything. we never slept together or anything like that. I guess him seeing me was a shock or something" Alex said. "I think it might be because Blaire, the girl who was back there, they kind of have a love relationship thing. when they had to transfer he left her" I said. "Oh my gosh, Blaire is going to hate m-" "She won't hate you. I'll talk to her. she can be a diva but she'll open up more. so what do you want to drink?" I asked as we walked into the café. "What's your favorite drink here?" She asked. "Well, I love Starbucks in general, but first off coffee or no coffee?" I asked. "I'm not a big coffee person. I love tea though" she said. "They have good raspberry tea" I said. "Can I get it iced?" She asked. "Yeah, they cater to whatever you'd like" I said. "Ok" she said. I ordered everyone's drinks and josh, the guy who works there, took quite an interest in Alex. "are you from Australia?" He asked as he made our drinks. "Somewhat. I was born in Southern Ireland and when I was 5 my parents moved to Melbourne, so I have a mix of both accents. it's quite annoying" she said. that explained why I couldn't quite put my finger on her accent. Our drinks were ready and we took the elevator back up. "Sorry about my swearing this morning, it wasn't a good morning, but it's gotten much better" Alex said as we walked into our cubical. Calum stood up and Blaire ushered for him to walk towards her. I knew this wasn't going to end well for Blaire and Calum.
