Chpt 39: Here comes the Bride

Anna's POV

Blaire and I walked into office 48 and we were greeted by Kelly. She was so excited for her wedding tomorrow. she was practically jumping out of her shoes. she'd been telling every and anyone about this. We hadn't met her husband yet. we were going to today. "I'M GETTING MARRIED IN LESS THEN 24 HOURS" she squealed. she handed us invitations. we smiled and opened them. i was the bridesmaid. "Kelly" I said as she hugged me. Blaire was the other bridesmaid. we all hugged and then she smiled. "Guess who he is" she asked. "Who?" we asked. "There's my girl" an Australian voice rang. it was Luke. "Kelly th-" "He's amazing isn't he! I didn't want to tell you guys. I thought It'd be awkward but luke insisted to meet before the wedding" she said hugging him. "I've requested that your boyfriends walk down with you" he said kissing Kelly. he walked off and I forced a smile. "He is perfect" Kelly said. "I have your dresses, there at your houses. I've sent them specially. Luke has the tuxes taken care of for me! He's a doll. I love him so much, and I get to spend the rest of my life with him" she said smiling. We nodded. "No work today, go home and rest" she said as she pointed us out.

THE NEXT DAY

Anna's POV

I had my dress on and my hair pulled back to a bun. Michael's suit looked perfect. "I don't like this" he complained. "Come on, happy faces" I said as I fixed my dress. we lined up and I held flowers in one hand. Michael escorted me down and everyone took photos. I had on long flowey blue dress. We stood as the wedding happened. afterwards we got photos and Michael and I said our goodbyes. a mom was trying to get her kid to stop crying and Calum went up to the kid. Michael drove me home and the packed up. he had a huge promotion coming if he went on this trip. he kissed me goodbye and shut the door. I sat on the couch and watched Netflix. I was alone for 4 days. It was nice to have the house to myself for a bit.

Blaire's POV

I watched as Calum calmed the kid down. he was so good with kids. We said our goodbyes and Calum drove us home. "I want kids so bad" he said. the whole car ride he talked about them. I stayed silent and he parked the car. I nodded and got out. Calum locked the door and I turned my head. "You've not said a word since I brought up kids" Calum said. "I don't want kids" I said. "Everybody wants kids" Calum said. "I don't" I said as I unlocked the door. I walked in and changed. "I can change your mind" Calum said as he pushed me back to the bed. "Calum no, I don't want kids and you're going to have to deal with that. if not then you need to leave" I said. Calum stood up. "Selfish bitch, you always think of yourself and nobody else. kids are our future Blaire! we can make sure they have everything that we couldn't" Calum said grabbing his bag. "Calum I wasn't being seri-" "I can't be with a girl who doesn't want kids, were done" he said storming out. I yelled and kicked a chair in anger. his loss, I am way better with out him. he'd been so fucking tense lately. I have no idea why. I didn't do anything to him. ever since the hospital he's been acting up. I have no idea why, it'll be good for him to blow off steam. I plopped on the couch and watched tv.

Anna's POV

I ordered out tonight. I wasn't going to cook. I was debating between sushi or Chineese. I grabbed the house phone and there was a knock. I opened the door and saw a Calum. "Can I stay here tonight" he said as he wiped his eyes. "Fight?" I asked. Calum nodded and I looked around. his car wasn't here. "How'd you get here" I asked. "I called a cab, I told them your address. I am so so angry at Blaire and all I kept thinking about was you" he said walking in. "Calum I-" "Michael's away and I told him what was going on. he said that I could stay here, said you'd understand" he said. I shut the door and he set his bag down. he kept looking at me. His eyes locked on mine. "Are you ok?" I asked. "You want kids right" he asked. "Not now, when I'm married of corse. who wouldn't want kids" I said. "Blaire" he said. I sighed and nodded. "That kind of fight" I asked. he nodded and looked at me. "You look really pretty" he said. "Are you drunk" I asked. "Trying to be nice" he said. "Well stop, it's weird" I said. "I'm speaking the truth" he said walking towards me. His arms went around my waist. he pressed his lips to my neck. "Calum, Michael is-" "Not home" he said as he kissed down my neck. his soft lips pressed to my shoulder. "Calum stop, Blaire remember" I said turning around.
