Chpt 38: i cant

Blaire POV

I walked around the party. I opened a closet and saw Calum fucking Elena. "Fuck yeah, Elena, I love you" he breathed. Elena was moaning and I slammed the door. tears welled as I walked down the hall. I herd footsteps. "Blaire I can explain" Calum said. "Save it" I said. Elena came out smirking. "Round two? you can always join us Blaire" she said giggling. "BLAIRE" Calum yelled. I flew up and looked around. "Where am I?" I asked. "home, you were having a bad dream, again" Calum said. I sighed and walked to the kitchen. I saw the clock, 3:30am. That stupid dream has been fucking reoccurring every damn night. I've tried everything. I herd Calum's feet pad out to the kitchen. "What's going on?" he said as he wrapped his arms around my waist. "I keep having this dream that- never mind, I just can't sleep" I said. Calum kissed my shoulder. i moaned softly and he kept kissing my shoulder. "It's just a dream Elena" he said. I spun around fast and Calum wasn't there. now I'm hallucinating. I grabbed a glass of water and drank it. "I always win" a voice rang. I turned around and saw Elena standing there. "Get out" I said gripping my glass. "You know it bugs you. the fact that Calum pleased me so much. he didn't even say your name. We didn't use protection either, so I can always go to court and have Cal taken away from you" she said. "GET OUT" I screamed throwing my glass. "BLAIRE" Calum said running out. I realized that I had just thrown my glass at a wall. My hand had glass shards in it. I looked at it and Calum called Michael. he and Anna arrived. Michael cleaned my hand up and put a bandage on it. Anna cleaned up the glass and then talked to Calum. "Anna's next, he'll fuck her sooner or later. I bet they've already done it" Elena's voice rang in my ear. "stop it" I said through my teeth. "AHH Calum right there" Elena's voice rang. "GET OUT" I screamed. "BLAIRE" Calum yelled. I looked around. I was in the kitchen alone. "What is going on with you" Anna asked. I breathed in and walked to the bathroom. I ran some cold water and wet down my face. I wiped it off with a towel and looked up. "Boo" Elena said. "WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM? LEAVE ME ALONE" I screamed. I turned around and walked towards her. "LEAVE" I screamed shoving her. I put my hands around her neck and she started gasping. "BLAIRE ITS ME" Elena yelled and suddenly it was Anna. I let her go and she fell to the ground gasping and coughing. "What is going on?" Cal said running in. "I'm so sorry" I said. Calum held me and Michael got Anna. they left and Calum sat me on the toilet. "This has gotten out of control, what is going on Blaire" Calum said. "I can't, I can't tell you" I said. "Go ahead and tell him bay, he'll think your a psychotic bitch" Elena said laughing. she was right in front of me. "STOP" I screamed. "BLAIRE" Calum yelled. I looked at him. "I don't want to have to do this" he said standing. "Calum I can't-" "You can either tell me what the hell is going on, or we're over" he said folding his arms. "Calum please don't make me-" "Are you going to tell me or not" Calum asked. "I can't" I yelled out. "Fine, if you can't tell me then I'm leaving right now" Calum said walking out. he grabbed some clothes and walked towards the door. "Told you" Elena said as she watched me. I got to my feet and grabbed his arm. "Please don't leave me alone with it" I said. "Alone with what?!? Blaire nobodies here" he said pulling back. he shut the door and got in his car. the rain came down the window and I wiped a clear path. Calum was in his car and he banged on the wheel. "I won" Elena said. "GET OUT OF MY HEAD! I DON'T CARE! I DON'T CARE ELENA. LEAVE ME ALONE. YOU WON, NOW GET OUT OF MY HEAD" I screamed. she disappeared and I fell down crying. I ran my hands through my hair and grabbed my cellphone. I went to Calum's number. it went straight to voice mail. "Hi, you've reached Calum, I'm not available but leave a message and I'll call ya back" his voice said. there was a beep and I swallowed the lump in my throat. "Calum, I-" the phone picked up. Calum didn't speak. i herd him grunting and then Elena's voice. I through my phone and it cracked. "Kill yourself Blaire you know the pain will go away. it's the only way out" Elena said. I walked to the kitchen. "If I do this, will you leave him alone" I asked. "I won't bug you anymore. and I won't bug him" she said smiling. I grabbed the house phone and called him. straight to voice mail. "I messed up, I know. I want to tell you but she keeps haunting me. the only way out is to die" I cried as I took a knife out. "Take good care of Anna for me, ok? I love you so much Calum. Elena won't leave me alone unless I do this" I said as I dropped the phone on the counter. I was shaking as I held the knife pointed at my ribs. "I love you so much Calum" I said as I hung up. I put the knife away and grabbed a rope. I hung it from the hook in our living room and tied a loop. I grabbed a bottle of pills and water. The pills were Advil and some pain killers. I took the bottle and then stood on a chair. I put my head through the loop and tightened it. "Go ahead Blaire" Elena said smirking. I stepped off the chair and kicked it. I struggled for air and I flailed around.

Anna's POV

I walked up the front steps of Blaire house. I needed to talk to her. "ITS NOT WORKING ELENA" she yelled. I knocked on the door and turned it. it was locked. i herd gasping. "BLAIRE OPEN THE DOOR" I said pounding on it. I banged harder and harder I slammed myself into it. "OPEN THE DOOR" I yelled. I called 9-1-1. I pounded on the door and saw Calum's car. "Anna what are you-" "BLAIRE DON'T DO THIS" I screamed through the door. Calum kicked it open and I ran in. I stood on the coffee table and untied the rope. I held Blaire's body and Calum took her. I looked at the pill bottle. "Blaire wake up" Calum said laying her on the couch. "I never should've left" he said as he shook her. I checked the rooms for Elena. she wasn't there. Blaire must have been paranoid. she kept picturing Elena and Calum sleeping together. Elena became a fake character made by her mind. I ran over and shook her. "ELENA'S GONE BLAIRE. SHE'S NOT GOING TO HURT YOU" I yelled. Calum looked at me and the medics came running in. they zapped her and nothing happened. my eyes watered as they kept trying. they shook there heads and tried again. "Don't die" they said. Michael came running in and held me. they got a stretcher and put her on it. we weren't being told anything. they tried different things as I watched her. i screamed as she was wheeled away. they got a oxygen mask on her and took her outside. they loaded her up and a cop came over. "There going back to the hospital, there is a sign of her breath. we will meet you there" he said as he left. The door was shut and I looked at Calum. he stood there and then turned around. he through a chair and yelled. I grabbed Calum and he bursted out crying. he held me tightly as he screamed sobbed into my shoulder. "She'll be ok" I said. Michael drove us and I ran down the hall. We had her room number and I ran. I ran into her room and she was there. she was awake and she saw me. "Anna" she said as her voice cracked. Calum came in behind me then Michael. i sat crying next to her. "You have to tell me what the hell is going-" "You kept getting paranoid at the fact that Calum slept with Elena. your brain imagined her and you wanted out didn't you" I said. she nodded and Calum looked at her. "I neve-" "She's gone now Blaire, she won't come back" I said. she nodded and Calum kissed her forehead. "I never met to leave you, I shouldn't have been so-" "Don't blame yourself babe, I wasn't thinking straight" she said. I hugged her lightly and sat next to her. "You're alive, that's all that matters" I said. the doctor came in. "Your nurse will be in shortly" he said. we said thank you and then there was a knock on the door. The nurse walked in reading papers. "Alright, we have a code red which me- Calum?" The nurse said. we looked up and saw Elena. Blaire's heart rate increased and I held her hand.
