Chpt 62: but he was here when you weren't

Anna's POV
I awoke in a hospital bed. there were machines hooked up to me and I felt pain in my stomach. I blinked a couple times and saw a blurt outline of two male bodies and a female body. I blinked some more and then the blur went away. it was Michael, Calum, and Blaire. I groaned and they all turned. "What the hell is happening" I asked. "They've started to pump food into your stomach" Michael said. Blaire had her lips pressed together. "Can I talk with Blaire alone?" I asked. Michael and Calum nodded leaving us and swinging the door around. Blaire pulled a chair up and sat next to me. "Anna why did you call? I was fucking scared out of my god damn mind. don't ever do this. the doctors were so concerned. You came in at 96.2 pounds. it's so unhealthy Anna. if you would've called we-" "Called and told you want Blaire? That I'm practically dying inside and screaming out for someone to kill me? I wanted to die Blaire, and I tried. but I didn't make it. You wouldn't have been able to help. and you still won't. and don't think I didn't try and call you. I came to your house endless times but you were to busy fucking some prostitute that you paid to make you forget about Cal. and I know exactly who he was. his name was Arron. he goes around and does that. at least I remained loyal. but don't you dare say that I didn't try. I showed up waiting and waiting but you didn't even notice. I followed this Arron kid and as soon as he fucked you he went and fucked some other girl. so yea Blaire, believe it or not I tried. I gave up, stopped caring. I tried to contact you so many times but you were the one who shut me out. YOU! Not me. after you dissed me I went into isolation. I waited for you to fall but I got nothing. I lost you and Michael, the two sources of my happiness so yeah, I'm sorry that I tried to starve and kill myself. I couldn't live knowing that you practically disowned me as a friend, so I'm sorry for whatever the hell you think I did" I said as my breaths became quickened. an alarm went off and Blaire was removed from the room. I laid my head back and tried to calm myself. they moved me to ICU. I was in a room and the doors were shut. the doctor came in and smiled. "You were very skinny miss Harris. We have decided that it's best to give you prescription anti depressants. these should allow you to eat regularly. do you have any family you'd like us to call?" The nurse asked. "Is there a man in waiting, his name is Zany, but he goes by Zap. he's practically the only family I have" I lied. "Let me go check" the nurse said. "Thank you so much" I said. she smiled and left. I saw zap come running in and he pulled a chair over. "Anna, what happened? I saw Michael in the Lo-" "Sh, quiet down" I said. zap took my hand and kissed it. "Michael had a spare key and he got in my house, he was going to call the ambulance unless I let him take me to the hospital, I hate him so much. and he decided to bring fucking Blaire. after everything sh-" "Annabella, you need to slow your breathing" zap said. I noticed my heart rate had spiked and it was getting high. "Sh" zap said as he rubbed his thumb over my hand. he scooted closer and kissed my forehead. "You've always been here for me" I said. "I wasn't always there for you, but I promise you now Anna. I'll always be here" he said stroking my hair. "I'm just happy that you'll be healthy again. you had me scared Anna. and let me just say, you were fucking gorgeous before you binged and you still are, but don't you think there are better ways to dealing with pain then this? I mean look where it's gotten you" he said. "You're right Zap, you've always been right" I smiled. the nurse came back in. "I know your visiting and you are welcome by all means to stay during this, but we are going to have an IV in your arm and try to replace pumping your stomach. It's only if you want Annabella, if you do we have a surgeon ready to remove the tube" the nurse said. "Yes please" I said. she smiled and looked at zap then at me. "This is your boyfriend I presume" the nurse asked. I smiled and she laughed. "Couples these days, they'll do anything to see each other" the nurse said. she checked some machines. "Say your see you laters for now and then come get me when you are done, Mr." she paused and looked for a name tag. "It's Zany, Zap for short" he said. "Alright, Mr. Zany just come find me, I'll be at the desk just outside" she said. Zap scooted closer as the automatic doors closed. "You ready?" He asked. "Zap, what if I don-" "Anna you'll be fine, this operation has been done probably more than thousands of times. I'll be waiting till you're out ok?" Zap said. "Incase I don't make it, will you kiss me Zap?" I asked. "I never thought you'd ask" he said leaning in. his lips pressed to mine and I felt as if I was floating. it was just him and I. no longer was I in a hospital, but we were home, together. laying in bed. he pulled back. "You'll be ok, i'll see you in a few hours baby" he said kissing my cheek. he went to get the nurse and she came in. "You're a fighter Anna" the nurse said as the others soon followed.
Zap's POV
I walked into the waiting room where the 3 stood. I felt so much hate towards Michael. it was his fault and Blaire's. they made her like this. I sat down and took out my phone. "Zap?!? What's the news" Blaire asked. "She'll be ok" I said as I scrolled through my timeline on Twitter. "That's it?" Michael asked raged. "I'm gonna go get a snack" I said locking my phone. Michael shoved me back and started choking me. "I WANT ANSWERS YOU FUCK TARD" he yelled. I kneed him in the gut and pinned him to the ground. "Listen here pal, the only fuck tard in this room is you" I said pointing my finger at him. "The girl that Anna was when you left is gone. you left her shattered into millions of pieces and I had to pick them up. I put the pieces back together. so for you to think its ok to pin me down and scream at me when I was the ONLY one who was there for her is wrong. you think she would've told the nurse to get you if she wanted you in there? She called for me because I'm the only one whose been here through it all" I barked. "I have been there too Zap! Did you-" "Fuck you Blaire. you were to busy fucking every boy you could see to try and fill the 'void' in your life. I bet little Calum didn't know that either did he! Well mate now you know. she was sleeping around with every guy hoping to replace you. Anna tried but you shut her out. she waited on your doorstep for you. when Arron left she knocked but YOU refused to answer. SHE tried Blaire. NOT YOU. once you shut her out she lost control. I bet you guys didn't know that she's been taking laxatives have you? Or the pills that make you puke? None of you knew that because your heads were shoved up your asses. all you people care about is your god dam selves. Anna purged and she's been cutting and I WAS THERE. SHE TRIED TO KILL HERSELF AND I WAS THERE. NOT ANY OF YOU! IT WAS ALL ON ME! So don't you dare go and say that you tried. because none of you did. maybe if you take your head out of your ass you'll realize that there's more to live then money, sex and yourselves" I said as I stormed out. I walked to the vending machine down the hall and put in a dollar. I clicked D4 and got a bag of M&M's. I walked to the desk and smiled nicely at the ladies working. "Hello, how may I help you?" The women asked. "Hi, I was wondering if you could tell me what room Annabella Rose Harris will be in? I know she's in surgery right n-" the phone range and the girl held up a finger. "Hello? Yes, he's right here. Sure thing, I'll send him up" the women said. "You need a special visitors pass, here" the women said handing me a marker and a name tag. I filled it out and put it on. "She's on level 2, room 48. take the elevator at the end of the hall up and she'll be 9 doors down to the left" the women said. "Thank you so much" I said as I sped walked to the elevator. I road up and got out. I counted 9 doors and on the left side I saw the sign. 'Room 48, Annabella Harris'
I sighed in relief. I walked in and saw Anna. some of the color had even returned to Anna's face. She was talking to a nurse then saw me. she went to stand and the nurse helped her slowly. "Zap" she said as she hugged me. "Anna" I said as I hugged her lightly back. I embraced her small body in mine as we stood there. I pulled back and she smiled. "Lets get home" she said. "Anna we can't get. yo-" "she's on laughing gas, it's to numb the pain. the surgery went great! Her body is responding very well" the nurse said. I pulled out my wallet and took out a 50. "Oh I can't ta-" "Please, you have taken such great care of her. I couldn't ask for a better nurse for Anna" I said slipping it into her pocket. "Thank you so much, and she should be ready to leave as soon as she's ready" the nurse said. "Anna, you ready to-" "Yes! Let's go home babe" she said as she smirked. I swung the door around and grabbed her clothes. "Lets get you changed" I said. "We haven't done this in-" "I know, if your not comfortable I can send in a-" "Zap I think I'm in love with you" Anna said as I paused whilst in the process of unbuttoning her hospital gown. "Anna your on laughing gas, I don-" "Zap" she said turning around. "I love you" she said as she leaned in to kiss me. I kissed her and my hands ran to her hair. her hair was so soft as were her lips. I took off the gown and ran my hands to her back. I made sure to be gentle and not hurt her. I pulled back and there was only a little scare. "It already is heeling" I said. She rested her nose on mine. I helped her change and then took her hand in mine. we walked out and the nurse smiled. we reached the lobby and cameras started flashing. I covered Anna with my jacket. "Are you the reason 5SOS are here? Who are you? Anna are you and Michael a thing?" Questions came from everywhere. Nurses came and got us away. "What is 5sauce?" Anna asked. I looked it up. "Apparently they made a band while they were in Australia. word must've spread. they couldn't have grown this quickly. unless this is what they did in secret" I said.
Anna's POV
That's why Michael was always fidgety when we went out. I never noticed that it was a big deal. "God damn it" I said as I stormed to where Michael was. "Anna yo-" "WHAT THE FUCK MICHAEL?!?" I yelled. "What do you-" "Anna, we can get you out through the back door" the nurse said. "One minute please" I said. "You and your fucking videos. is that why you went back? This girl wanted to meet you I take it? You made everything up didn't you! YOU'RE SUCH A BACKSTABBER! ALL OF YOU! I WANTED TO HAVE PEACE AND NOW WHAT LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE! What did you tweet out that you hope I feel better after surgery? You could've told me instead of TWEETING IT FOR THE WHOLE FUCKING WORLD TO HEAR MICHAEL!" I yelled. "Anna c-" "DONT YOU DARE TELL ME TO CALM THE FUCK DOWN. I WANTED A HAPPY LIFE AND YOU RUIEND IT AGAIN MICHAEL! CONGRATS! IS THAT WHAT YOU WANTED?!?" I yelled. he walked towards me and kissed me. I pushed back and smacked him. "Don't. if you haven't gotten it yet I've moved on Michael. while you were fucking god knows who I was SLOWLY DYING BECAUSE OF YOU. MY BODY WAS GIVING UP ON ME BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WAS ME BUT REALLY ALL ALONG IT WAS YOU! God, Zany was right this whole time" I said running a hand through my hair. "What do you mean?" Michael asked quietly. "He told me that we would end over your self centered ego" I said as I turned on my heels. I headed towards the back door and I herd Michael following. "IS THAT WHAT YOU THINK ANNA?!? I WAS IN PAIN TOO! ITS NOT ALL ABOUT LITTLE MISS ANNA. IM SURE YOU FUCKED ZANY ENOUGH" he yelled. I turned around but kept walking slowly. "I HAVE RESPECT MICHAEL. WE'RE WAITING, UNLIKE YOU AND I. THATS ALL YOU WANTED. SEX! WELL GUESS WHAT MICHAEL, THERES MORE THAN A THOUSAND GIRLS OUT THERE! TAKE your pick" I said as I turned around. "Why Zap" he yelled. "Because he had ALWAYS been there for me, even while you were off fucking every big chested girl that walked by" I spat. Zap came around the corner and stopped in his tracks. "YOU WERE RIGHT ANNA. Pity, that's all anyone feels when they're with me. I blinked and zap was running down the hall. he tackled Michael and kept punching him. my whole world felt like it was spinning. He was right. I felt nauseous and I needed to get out of here. I saw the nurse and she led me to the car. the taxi drove me home and I got out. I just got the door open and then I slammed it shut hitting. I hit knob as I shut it. Michael was right. I'm just a girl who lost her parents and now everyone pity's me. the room was spinning and I needed to get to the bathroom. I walked in and the mirror was replaced. zap. I looked in it and my makeup was running. I opened up the cabinet and took out a bottle of pain killers. I opened them and started taking pill after pill. I needed out. my head was pounding and It wouldn't stop. I kept going and then stumbled to my room. I laid on my bed watching the celling fan. I took out a razor and pressed down hardly to my skin. I slit across each wrist and let then bleed. I sat up as my wrists bled and walked to the bathroom. I grabbed every piece of furniture to blame me. I grabbed a pill bottle and returned to my room. I downed more pills and felt tired. I laid down and felt my eyes flutter close. this is what death would feel like. I'm finally going to be with my mom. we can see each other and live together. I saw a flashing light of white and hazily opened my eyes. I saw a white light. there stood my mom, perfectly normal like I remember. she held out her arms. "Mom I'm scared" I spoke as I sat up. I looked back and my body was laying there. "Your almost there Annabella, your passing over. I'm right here darling. Wait till you see heaven. it's wonderful, everything you could ever dream of" my mom said. I herd a door open and then yelling. Zap. "Anna? An- FUCK, ANNA NO! YOU GET BACK HERE RIGHT NOW. DONT YOU DARE LEAVE ME" zap said as he called 9-1-1. he gave the address and I saw tears streaming down his face. I looked at my mom and then at Zap. "Annabella, please. if you are still here. Stay. I know that you wanted out but you can't leave me alone here. I need you Anna, we all do. I know you want to be with your mom but I'm being selfish. I need you Anna. please, don't give up" he cried as he pushed on your chest. I felt a shift in my movements. "Anna it's now or never. you can go back to your body or come with me. You pick" my mom said. I saw two hands. my bodies hand and my moms. "I'm so sorry" I said as I went with my gut grabbing the hand that I missed so much.
