Chapter 12

I am currently in the party room sitting at the bar pouring myself my 10th drink "can we talk?" I hear Bucky ask, I look up at him "are you drunk?" He asks "nope" I say bringing my cups to my lips "I'm sorry about how we left things before the mission, you have been gone for like a month and it killed me to know we were fighting" Bucky says "we had a disagreement James, we're fine" I say "no we aren't, you acted like we are in front of Sarah and I'm very grateful for it" Bucky says "so this Sarah" I say "you really like her?" I ask "yeah I guess I do" Bucky says and I pour myself another drink before pouring Bucky one too

"And she makes you happy?" I ask handing him the drink "she does" Bucky says "then that's all I had to hear Jamie" I say with a smile "so we're not fighting anymore?" He asks and I smile "no, we are good. I did miss you though" I say "I did too" Bucky says "I miss fighting by your side, you're my best friend Gen" Bucky says, ouch "yeah I do too, best friend" I say smiling "I hear you and Sam are getting closer" Bucky says "not that way at all" I say "he and I we are just friends" I say "like you and Loki?" Bucky asks with a laugh "Loki and I we're close friends who have the ability to have sex with each other and not mean anymore than that and also not ruin the friendship. Sam and I are like, Chris and I. You remember Chris?" I ask

"I do" Bucky says and I nod "just friends" I reply downing my drink "how many drinks have you had today?" Bucky asks "that depends on what you mean by today, are you counting it from midnight or are you counting it from the last time I slept?" I ask "when was the last time you slept?" Bucky asks "when I died in battle, so I guess the ride back home the day before yesterday" I say "was it a rough battle?" He asks "no, I just found something" I say with a shrug "bad?" He asks "depends how you define bad" I say "but no, I don't know" I say "Gen, you know I have your back, you don't have to hide with me" Bucky says placing his hand over my hand

I look at his hand "I know" I say "you should get some rest" Bucky says "come on" Buckyl says, I attempt to get up only to stumble and fall to my knees "so you are drunk" Bucky jokes while picking me up bridal style "no" I say with a small laugh "is she okay?" I hear Sarah ask "she just drank too much, I'll take her to bed and be right there" Bucky says "okay" Sarah replies. I feel Bucky set me on my bed before leaving. I lay in bed just staring at the ceiling "I heard you got drunk" Loki says, I look over as he sits at the end of my bed. I sit up and move closer to him

"Yes I did" I say with a shrug "and you're looking at me like you want something" Loki says "how drunk are you really?" He asks "drunk enough to want to sleep with you again, but then again I didn't have to be drunk for that" I reply with a smirk, Loki let's out a laugh before leaning in "are you seriously trying to get me to be your rebound?" Loki whispers "no, I just want to have sex with you" I reply, Loki smirks and kisses me roughly instantly coming on top of me "are you sure?" Loki asks "I'm not here to take advantage of you" Loki says "you're not, I want this" I say lifting my head so our lips meet once again

A few hours later
"So you Bucky carried you here from the party room?" Loki asks glancing over at me, I look at him before moving to sit on his lap pulling the covers to hide my naked body "you really want to keep talking about Bucky?" I ask, Loki let's out a small laugh as sits up before resting one hand on my lower back and tucked a strand of hair behind my ear with the other "I do not" Loki says and I smirk before kissing him

*knock knock* "Alexa?" I hear Steve say, I ignore him as I continue to kiss Loki "Alexa" Steve insists while trying to open the door "I'm busy Steve" I say "you're not busy you're with Loki" Steve says slightly annoyed "yeah busy" I call back, I still hear him fiddling with the handle, I roll my eyes while climbing out of bed and walking towards the door with the covers still around my body, Loki covers himself with a blanket as I open the door

"What?" I ask seeing Steve and Sam standing in front of my door "oh you were" Sam says with a small laugh, Steve looks extremely angry "what do you need Steve?" I ask but he remains quiet "Steve?"I ask "I'm in the middle of something here are you going to tell me what you want?" I ask "are you sleeping together?" He asks "yeah" I reply with a shrug, Steve looks down at me clenching his jaw slightly while frowning "oh don't act like you never knew, I told everyone during that truth or dare game" I say

"Why are you doing this?" Steve asks his overprotective side coming out "do I really need to explain to you?" I ask "no" Steve says disgusted "why him?" Steve asks "he is right here" Loki says "and he is not good" Steve says "he is, you just didn't give him the chance to be. Now seriously what is going on?" I ask "Bucky isn't here" he says "he's probably with his girlfriend" I say with a shrug "no she's here and he just isn't" Steve says "you should've led with that" I say

I close the door and begin to get dressed in some jeans and a hoodie, I look at Loki "What are you looking at me for darling, go find him" Loki says and I nod before walking out "where is Sarah?" I ask "right here" she says and I nod "so when was the last time you saw him?" I ask "well we were in bed, he left to get us some food and just didn't come back. That was hours ago" Sarah says and I nod, I walk into the kitchen and see the window open and a single key left on the floor

I crouch down looking at the key "damn it" I say "what?" Steve asks, I grab the key and stand up once again "Hydra for him" I reply
