The avengers are gathered in the Barnes residence after Alexandra's funeral "what is this?" Steve asks finding a tape on top of the counter "we haven't used tapes in years" Natasha says also confused, Bucky grabs the tape and sees a note 'from - Alex' "it's from her" Bucky croaks out, Bucky puts in the tape and presses play
"Hi guys, and my two princesses." Alexandra says smiling "unfortunately, if you're watching this it means I'm no longer with you. But that's okay, you see a few years ago when I brought everyone back Stephen and I had a little conversation. We knew it wasn't over, but I couldn't tell anyone until I was sure that Thanos was back, Stephen and I knew that there was only one way to save all of you" Alexandra says putting her hand up and showing a visual of the infinity stones "And the only way was to get rid of them all, wipe up the only chance he could have to come back and that's exactly what I did. But you know, that's okay" Alexandra says "I did this so that my girls and all of you could have a better future. Ki, Jenny, James, Steve" She continues "I love you all more than I have ever loved anything in my life, and for the rest of you don't be jealous" Alexandra says with a laugh and a wink, everyone laughs through sobs
"I love you all and I wanted to thank you for all the opportunities you have given both me and my Jamie regardless of what you thought of us to begin with, with the recent events I hope that you can all continue to keep our world a better place for my kids for Morgan and for all the other kids. I hope you all the best. And I'll be with you all until the end of the line" Alexa says smiling as she's always done before waving goodbye, the TV turns off and the avengers share a look of gratitude, love and grieve for their fallen family
But they knew, they knew it had to happen and for that they'll be forever grateful for her sacrifice.
