Chapter 19

Bucky pulls away looking at me "I don't understand you" Bucky says taking a step back "W-what?" I ask "one minute you're with me and you help me out, you get mad over Sarah and then you, you go and you sleep with Loki and Pietro. Now you kiss me?" Bucky asks "why?" Bucky asks "Loki and I we're just friends" I admit "Do you really want me to believe that?" Bucky laughs "Yes James i do" I say "Why? Why should I?" Bucky asks "W-we act like we have been just friends this whole damn time, it's seriously like you don't even remember the days and nights we spent with Hydra" Bucky says and my eyes begin to fill with tears

"You think I don't remember?" I yell "I fought every damn day trying to make sure Hydra didn't take you away from me. I watched you die James, I watched you drop me out of a damn plane back into the ice" I yell waving my hands in the air as if I was crazy "I watched Hydra control everything you ever felt for me and I watched you turn all of those lies into hate" I say "You think that my feelings were fake?" James asks "You think that I fought with everything I had to be me because Hydra wanted me to? I did it because I have always hated being you damn friend Genevieve, I have always hated it" Bucky yells back

"Even when we met, even when the three of us vowed to be friends for eternity. God I hated that damn vow because I have loved you since we were freaking kids. And now, you just sleep around with them in my freaking face?" Bucky yells, I stay quiet "I-I" I say "Don't bother" Bucky says while turning around "I slept with both of them to try and occupy my mind from you. I thought being with someone else would have helped me move on, it didn't" I admit "I am in love with you James, it's always been you" I admit softening my tone, Bucky turns to look at me slowly

"That vow was stupid, I agreed to it because of Steve. I didn't want to be the girl that fell for my best friend or even worse, I didn't want to be the girl who fell in love with her brothers best friend" I confess tears finally escaping my eyes "The more I denied it the worse it got, the day you fell out of that train a part of me went with you. When the plane crashed, I didn't even care about what would happen to me" I say "The day I saw you after waking up the first time, I felt hope a stupid kind of hope that turned me into a typical girl and I hated being that girl" I say "Yes I slept around, a lot because after you. I never thought I would ever fall for anyone else" I say

"I never thought you could feel the same it's why I never gave you the keys back. You were with Sarah and I thought that was your chance of happiness and I hated how jealous I hated that I thought I had lo-" I continue just to be interrupted by Bucky kissing me again "I have always felt the same, I just never made a move because of Steve. I know we danced together and I said I wasn't going to back off when you woke up. But it killed me seeing you with Loki" Bucky says "James" I say looking at him "I love you more than anything in this world Genevieve" Bucky says pulling me into a hug

We go to Bucky's room quietly and sit on the bed "you know we can't tell Steve yet right?" I ask and Bucky smiles at me "I know" Bucky replies "let me take you out" Bucky says "like on a date?" I ask still smiling "yeah" Bucky says and I look into his eyes "I would love that" I say "come here" Bucky says tucking my hair behind my ear before cupping my face and kissing me softly "I thought my blue eyes never had any effect on you" Bucky asks with a smirk "Well James, I lied" I say with a smile 

"I love your smile" Bucky says running his fingers over my bottom lip, my heart begins to beat faster and faster. I move closer to him my gaze moving between his lips and his eyes before his lips meet mine half way, Bucky lifts me up slightly moving me to sit on his lap, his hands resting on my lower back while mine cupped his face softly *Knock Knock* Bucky and I pull away "Buck?" Steve asks from the other side of the door, my eyes widen as I instantly climb off Bucky and sit at the very end of the bed "You need to hide that" I say pointing to his crotch while laughing, Bucky looks down wide eyes before placing a pillow over it 

"Come in Steve" I call back "Alexa?" Steve asks while coming in "This is where you've been?" He asks and I nod "Yeah why?" I ask "Loki was looking for you and we couldn't find you" Steve says with a frown "Bucky and I have been talking" I say with a shrug "About?" Steve asks while joining us on the bed, Bucky and I share a look "About my breakup" Bucky says quickly and I roll my eyes when Steve isn't look with made Bucky try to hide a laugh "Oh so you did talk to him about it? two months later" Steve says "Oh you know I was a little" I begin to say "Don't say it" Steve says

"Tied up" I say with a laugh "Because while you were gone Sarah would come over extremely often to see Bucky" Steve says, I look at Bucky tilting my head "Oh, I have heard" I lie "And it meant nothing" Bucky replies "Well that's better to hear, I really thought you two had gotten back together. She was here so often" Steve rambles "Well" I say to Bucky "Are you two still together?" I ask Bucky looks away "Are you serious?" I say annoyed "Why are you so mad?" Steve asks "Because maybe she's toxic and psycho crazy. And Bucky never mentioned they were still together" I say 

"Because we aren't" Bucky reassures me "Are you sure of that?" I ask "Yes, we never got back together Gen. She tried and I didn't want it" Bucky says "But you slept together while I was gone?" I ask "Yeah" Bucky admits "Why does it matter you were with, Loki before that" Steve says very disgusted "Right" I say knowing I'm acting like a complete hypocrite "Sleeping around is no big deal" I say "I do it, ask Pietro and Loki" I say attempting to make Bucky jealous and achieving it "Yeah well it's not like it was only Sarah" Bucky says "Oh you mean the girl from the bar?" Steve asks "Exactly" Bucky says 

"Yeah well I'm sure I get way more action than you Jamie, I mean I can just call Loki right now" I say smirking "Are you guys competing for who sleeps around the most?" Steve asks "That's just disgusting and slightly degrading" Steve says "Hold your horses grandpa" I say to Steve who looks at me offended "Why are we competing, clearly I would win. We should be trying to get Steve laid" I say to Bucky who's staring at me "Sam is right you do have a staring problem" I say to Bucky "I'm going to go" I say finally while getting up "Wait" Bucky says "Hang out with Steve, I'm going to find Loki" I say smirking while walking away 

So stupid. 

I walk into my room to see Loki looking at me slightly angry with his hand on his hips "What are you a mum? Why are you standing like that" I ask annoyed "Well I walked past Bucky's room a few minutes ago, why are you making this worse for yourself Alexandra? You need to tell him you love him not throw our affair on his face" Loki says "I told him" I say "What?" Loki asks "After I left dinner, I went outside. He came after me, we argued and we both confessed. We were in his room kissing and we were both so happy" I say "Then what was that?" Loki asks 

"That was Steve coming in, mentioning that Sarah has been showing up since I got kidnapped and finding out her and James have been sleeping together" I say "So have we for months, let's not mention your fun night with Pietro" Loki says "I am a hypocrite, I know. I got stupid jealous" I complain and Loki laughs "Love is a great look for you" Loki says and I laugh "Shut up" I say "Oh so you did call Loki" Bucky says walking in staring at Loki "No actually he was already here" I say "I'm going to go" Loki says while leaving 

"I'm not in the mood" I say getting up and trying to leave, Bucky shuts the door and spins me around pinning me against the door. He leans on his metal hand against the door while looking down at me "Sarah doesn't mean anything to me" Bucky says "And Loki is just my friend" I say "You seriously drive me crazy Genevieve" Bucky whispers "You think you don't do the same to me?" I ask without another word Bucky slams his lips against mine kissing me roughly, I practically melt into the kiss when he wraps his metal arm around my waist and pulls me up

I wrap my legs around his waist as he pins me up against the wall before throwing me onto the bed and quite literally ripping my clothes off
