My makeup is very light and natural compared to my usual winged eyeliner while my hair is curled loosely over my shoulders, Natasha and Wanda stare at me in awe while dressed in their baby blue bridesmaid dressed chosen to match their own style. "Are you ready?" Natasha asks while handing me my bouquet of light pink and white roses chosen by Steve to match my once pure soul, his words not mine "you look beautiful" Wanda says smiling just as a knock comes from the door, the door creaks open and Steve stands there looking at me with tears in his eyes "wow" he whispers with a smile "I can't believe it" he says and I smile at him walking closer to need him by the door, Natasha and Wanda leaves as they had to arrive before I do
Seconds later we are standing a few feet away from the dock, I feel my hand beginning to shake and my heart racing as I get a better few of Bucky standing by the alter slightly in front of Tony who we chose to be the one who will officiate us today, "are you nervous?" Steve whispers as we walk closer and closer slowly "I'm more nervous than when I first entered the army" I say my heart beating faster than it has ever before "I'm so happy for you" Steve says as we finally begin walking down the aisle, the music playing loudly I take in my surroundings proud that Steve managed to pull this off by himself

I watch as the faces turn to look at me as Steve walks me down the aisle, Bucky's eyes begin to tear up and a smile grow on his face. The brightest smile I have every seen, he is wearing a full suit, the best one he has ever worn which is obvious to happen considering that we are about to get married. Steve kisses my cheek as he hands me off to Bucky "you look so beautiful" Bucky says with a sniffle and I smile "you do too" I whisper with my own eyes beginning to tear up once again. Tony begin the ceremony "the vows?" Pepper whispers to Tony who seems to have completely forgotten "oh right" Tony says and we all laugh knowing that he was bound to forget something "well Bucky go ahead" Tony says and Bucky clears his throat
"The day we met, I never once thought that this could ever have been possible. I knew that you were the one I wanted, regardless of how Steve felt about anyone close to his sister" Bucky says with a laugh "I knew it was you, you became my best friend, my partner. Quite literally, and soon you meant everything to me and more. I'm not too good with my words, and you are very aware of that" Bucky says and I let out a laugh as a tear escapes my eye "but I promise, to love and to cherish every moment we spend together until the end of our lives" Bucky says and I smile "honestly I wish I could say I knew it was you all along" I say, giggles and laughs escape the guests "when Steve brought you over that day, I was like woah, I want him and when Steve told me I could never have him it just made me want him more. When we all became best friends I thought y that I had lost my chance with you so, I got married" I say with a laugh "and then we were taken by hydra, I know how bad it was for us but it made realise that you were the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with, i fell in love with everything about you good and bad. And I wouldn't change that for nothing in this world" I say
"James Buchanan Barnes do you take Alexandra as you lawfully wedded wife?" Tony asks "I do" Bucky replies as he puts the ring on my finger "Alexandra Genevieve Rogers do you take James as your lawfully wedded husband?" Tony asks "i do" I reply putting the ring on Bucky's finger "you may kiss the bride" Tony says, Bucky instantly pulls me closer and kisses me more passionately than he has ever done before, cheers and claps erupt all around us "we're married" I squeal lightly looking into his beautiful blue eyes "I feel for those beautiful and dreamy blue eyes after all" I whisper "you sure did" Bucky says kissing me again
We all head to the middle of the garden where Steve had set up the dance floor, tables and DJ "may I" Bucky says walking me to the dance floor "you may" I reply, he rests his hands on my waist while mine are resting on his shoulders "I can't believe after all these years we got married" Bucky says "yeah well I always get what I want" I joke "I couldn't have asked for a better husband than you" I whisper, Bucky leans his forehead against mine as we sway slowly to the music in silence just enjoying each other's presence and the happiness this day have brought the both of us. After all the pain and suffering we have gone through both together and separately we deserve this day, we deserve this happiness and we deserve to be together after all this time.
Hours of dancing and drinking and celebrating later, Bucky and I finally manage to sneak out to have a bit of our own celebration "no hold on" Bucky says pulling me back from the door and opening it himself before picking me up bridal style causing a soft gasp to escape my lips "we should do this the right way" he says smiling before taking me inside and closing the door with his foot. He sets me down facing away from him and begins to unzip my dress slowly before sliding it down my body. He kisses my shoulders softly before turning me around and looking into my eyes "I love you so much" he says slowly and softly "and I love you" I reply seconds before he leans down and kisses me
