"So, why don't we move this evening along and discuss the terms of this proposal" Elijah says

"That's very simple" Damon breaths "Klaus gets his coffin back, in exchange, he and the original extended family leave Mystic Falls forever; Skule can come back and visit. Me, Stefan, and Elena live happily ever after. No grudges"

"The deal sounds fair, brother" Elijah says

"I don't think you understand" Nik growls "Elena's doppelganger blood insures that I will always have more hybrids to fight those that oppose me. I will never leave her behind" then he starts pasing

Sofia walks in the room with bags

I jump up "Thank god you're back. I was so bored" then I take her bags from her "Come on; you can put me on a show"

"you two are to come back down" Elijah states

Sofia pouts with me

"Say the word, angel" I whisper as we go up the stairs "we can go on a vacation"

"I heard that" Nik yells

we go back down after we hear a bunch of yelling

Nik has Stefan's hand in the fireplace

"Nik" I groan "Let's not kill Stefan just yet"

with an amused smirk he pulls Stefan out

"You really have give up, haven't you?" Nik questions "Where's the fight? Where's the ripper?"

then the two children, Nik and Stefan, push each other

Elijah and Damon re-enter the room followed by a women with a tray

"Elijah...why haven't you left?" Nik asks

"Where are your manners, brother?" Elijah berates "We forgot dessert" then he uncovers the tray in the lady's hand that has daggers

Sofia takes my hand pulling me to a chair to sit down "This is going to be fun to watch"

"Yes it is, angel" I agree

Kol enters the room

"Kol" Nik gulps

"Long time, brother" Kol says

then Finn appears to stab him through the hand with a dagger "Finn, don't" falls on deaf ears

Nik tries to rush away to find Bekah "Rebekah"

she also stabs him with a dagger

"This is for our mother"

I turn to Damon and Stefan "I think you should go"

"Family business and all" Sofi agrees clutching me

Kol walks up to me "Brother"

we hug "It's been awhile Kol"

"And who's fault is that?" Kol laughs "I'm not the one who ran off without saying anything"

a smile creeps on my face "I missed you"

"I like what you've done with the new place, Nik" Rebekah says then throws a vase into a painting

Nik who is crying says "I wanted it to be for all of us. A place we could all call home. A place we could be family. None of us would ever have to be alone again"

"Well you're right, none of us will be" Elijah says

"You're staying behind" Finn tells

"We're leaving you, Nik" Rebekah determines "Right after I kill that doppelganger wench, then you will be alone. Always and forever"

"If you run, I will hunt you down" Nik cries

"Then you'll become everything you hate" Elijah warns "our father"

"I'M THE HYBRID! I CAN'T BE KILLED! I HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR FROM ANY OF YOU"

"You will when we have that coffin" Elijah growls

the door opens

Sofia clutches me tighter

"Mother?" Rebekah says

she walks towards Nik

Nik avoids looking at her

"Look at me!" she demands "Do you know why I'm here"

"You're here to kill me"

Mother smiles at him "Niklaus, you are my son and I am here to forgive you. I was us to be a family again"

I snort making everyone look at me

I walk towards her "I hate you as much as I hated father"

Sofia comes up beside me "Mikael might have killed our son but you gave the order. We hope you rot"

our hands lace as I turn to Kol "It's good to see you. We should hang out before we leave"

then we're gone

apparently mother is throwing a ball

Sofia left for Rebekah early this morning

I've just got here

when I step in the sitting room Rebekah is insulting Kol

"Ah, little brother" Finn says "I heard you're the one who killed father"

"For Ace" I hiss "I'll kill mother for him too" then join Kol in the mirror to stare at my pretty self with him

the door bust open and Nik comes barreling in

"You went after Elena? What is wrong with you?!"

"Here we go" Rebekah sighs

"Do you want another dagger in your heart?" Nik threatens

"Again with the dagger threats?" Kol sighs "Don't you have any other tricks"

"no, Kol" I snicker "He's a broken record"

"Oh, you two can go back to staring at yourselves" Nik snaps

Kol steps up to him "and who are you, my father?"

"No, Kol, but you're in my house"

"Then perhaps we should go outside"

man, all we're missing is popcorn

mother walks in "Enough! Niklaus, Skule. Come"

"When did I become a dog" I grumble following after them

"Rebekah wasn't even out of her box a day before she tried to ruin my life" Nik wines "What happened to peace and acceptance, family?"

I roll my eyes "Rebekah doesn't have to do any of that"

"Quiet" mother snaps "You put daggers in their hearts. You want them to go down on their knees and kiss your feet for reuniting them?"

"That is what he wants" I put in there

Nik shoves me "So it's a crime to want our family to be as we were?"

a chuckle comes out of my mouth "We will never be as we were, idiot"

"Skule" mother warns "Forgiveness is not a choice but a gift. Now, who are you bringing to the ball this evening?"

Nik sighs "don't be ridiculous. You're lucky I'm even going"

"Can you just tell me what you want" I snap "I don't want to be around you"

"I want to talk to you, son" mother says

my glare goes to her "Mother, even when we were human we didn't talk. So do us both a favor and sod off"
