You had an extremely abusive father and after ten years of torture, the cops finally found out and arrested your dad. They had brought you to the hospital with severe injuries and a fear of everyone who tried to come near you. They had inserted a tranquilizer in your IV. When you woke up, all the pain washed over you at once and you whimper slightly. "Hey love, good to see you awake" a male voice says next to you and you snapp your eyes towards him to meet his brown eyes. Your heartbeat starts to pick up again as you trie to scoot away from him but the pain you feel while doing that makes you crie out. "No no no, it's okay. I'm only here to help you, I won't hurt you" he hushes me but tears start to leave my eyes and my breathing gets so fast I barely get any oxigan out of it. "Dr Payne? Do we need to put her to sleep again? Nobody has succeed yet to calm her down any other way" a nurse sais while walking in the room. "No it's okay, I've got this" he answers before sitting on the edge of my bed. "(Y/N), right? I need you to breath with me, okay? I promis you can trust me and that I won't hurt you. Take a deep breath" he says while doing so himself. "And slowly breath out" he breathes but the panick attack makes it impossible to breath. "I'm going to help you sit up so breathing will be easier" he carefully grabs your arm and normally you would flinch away and freak out, but the fear of not being able to breath is the only thing in your mind right now. He stays with you and breathes through your attack for at least ten minutes before you calm down and collapse in a crying mess against him. "Sshhh, it's okay, you're okay now" he shootes me and I can't help but feel some kind of safety with him. "I know you've been trough a lot, but nobody is going to hurt you anymore, I promise"

the days after that, Liam was the only one who could give you your medicine and you would talk to and slowly but surely, a beautiful relationship began to form between the two of you.
