"I love school" Bri came up behind me scaring me as I was at my locker, Neil right behind her running

"Jesus women do you ever calm the fuck down" he rolled his eyes catching his breath

"Oh please you are literally part of the —" I placed a hand over her mouth before she could say anything, it was quite clear she's never been to a real school, I'm glad at least I had a few years of experience before I came here

I felt a wet sloppy tongue glide against the palm of my hand leading me to jump in surprise "you licked me" I accused her

"You covered my mouth" she shrugged leaning against the locker, "which was very rude by the way, but I'm weirdly impressed I half expected your hand to taste like potato chips, I mean not that that'd be bad—but they don't taste bad at all," she said as if it was a compliment

"Thanks?" I said putting my books inside and grabbing my bag from the small hanger supplied "so Neil how was your day, since we probably already know how Bris was" I laughed

"Horrible, I've been chasing miss can't sit still over here" he nudged his head towards her, I looked at him confusion hitting my face, "Killian told me to watch her, and he purposely gave us all the Same classes so I could," I said annoyed

"You know you love me" she rolled her eyes at him

"I hate you," he said back, she blew a small kiss his way giving him a cheeky grin along with it

"How about you Essence" his gaze stayed on her giving her a hard glare which she was finding very amusing

"Good, I'm so glad I'm not cooped up in that house anymore, even if it is fucking huge—shit— oh fuck" I caught myself swearing which I had no clew why he wasn't even here

"I see my brother is rubbing off on you" she nudged me then linked arms with me as it now became something normal we did

"Maybe a little too much" I scoffed at myself

"What do you mean," she asked me I shook my head smiling

"Never mind" I laughed it off walking towards the outside, voices started yelling behind us

"Wait you fucktards"

We turned our heads seeing Easton running towards us full speed, Zail taking his sweet time on his phone, and Jacob holding hands with Harry, since when did they become a thing

"Why-couldn't-you-wait," Easton said in between breaths, why didn't he just walk towards us like the rest of them, waist of breath

"Sorry," I said back to him patting his shoulder whilst his hands were on his knees, why is he so dramatic, it was a few steps, to say the least

"Hey" Zail nodded putting his phone away, and the rest two came right after

"The couple has arrived" Easton pronounced as if they were royalty, how could he have not told me I basically made this couple

"When did this happen" I spoke up

"Like a week ago," Harry said looking in between us

"Jakey, Jakey, Jakey, keeping things from us now" Bri crossed her arms over her chest unlinking ours doing so

"Sorry" he sent us an apologetic smile, we both hummed in response "we'll think of it like this now we can go on double dates even triple," he said hopefully

"What are you talking about?" Zail spoke up shaking his head

"Don't worry dumbass you're not involved, the person who doesn't 'date'" he put the word in air quotes "I meant, me and Harry obviously, Essence and Killian" my eyes burst out of their sockets "and maybe even Neil and Anna"

He finished "Anna who Anna me Anna?" Bri yelled pointing to herself making him nod with an 'obviously' expression both Neil and Bri burst out in laughter "me and —Ahah him and —Ahah" she tried getting her words out from her forced laughter she tried playing it off

"Ok wait" I held my hand up "I'm not with Killian," I said confusingly

"Anna said y'all made it official this morning" Neil piped up, my eyes widen

I raise my brows looking at Bri as she looked at the blue sky "oh the birds are out today, see Nelly" she put her arm on his shoulder as an armrest and put her hand in her chin as if she was thinking hard about the birds

"Bri cut the crap" I hit her arm off making her body move down a bit, she straightened herself up and giggled

"Sorry you guys were just so cute talking about boyfriend and girlfriend this morning," she said hopefully, why couldn't she have been like those friends who don't ship their siblings and best friends together

"It was a joke, I hate if for goodness sake" I lied through my teeth, he was growing on me and I could even maybe say he was a peer to be a friend of a friend,  a normal acquaintance even

"Yeah right who you trying to convince us or yourself,"  she said back

"Oh wait the guy you were holding hands with this morning," Harry said knitting his brows, of course, he just had to see that part

"Yeah" I shrugged as if it was no big deal "I hold hands with Bri so," I said reaching to hold hers

"Thing is your straight so it means jack shit babe sorry, but if you were lesbian I'd fuck you" she winked I laughed at her and shook my head, I'll take that as a compliment

"Straight or not I can hold hands with guys too" I Fought

"Essence no one is coming for you it's fine if you want to hold hands with him or not, it doesn't matter if you like him," Neil said holding his hands up

"But I don't like him!" I almost screamed

"Well rides here," Zail said ignoring all of us and walking into the car that was opened by an older man who was bald

"Who's he," I asked

"Our driver, he usually only comes when we're going to—" she stopped herself from talking  and groaned

"Where?" My face scrunched, Jacob kissed Harry and stepped in front of us and into the large car "Bri?" I questioned she looked at me with a tired face

"The main mafia house—Where literally most of the members stay at, obviously not all since there's a lot of fucking members but like 30 to guess," she said dragging her feet to the car

"Is it a bad thing going?" I asked

"You'll see"  she muttered
