I open my eyes slightly, a blasting white light appears making me shut my eyes back closed, I moved my hand to cover my eyes and open them again keeping them at a squinting level, I raised my head a bit causing a hard pounding sensation to form

I move the hand from my eyes to my forehead, "fuck" I mumbled quietly, I took multiple deep breathes and removed my hand placing it beside me so I could support myself up to a sitting position

I closed my eyes for a moment trying to relieve the black dots that were forming, I opened them again and looked down at the light blue thing blanket covering my body, I furrowed my brows, my head followed the beeping noise

I was in a hospital...

I turn my head to the other side of me seeing Emilio and Killian both sleeping on chairs, their head laid back on the walls and their arms crossed over their body, they were sharing a thin blanket that looked more like a sheet

My mouth turned into a small smile, their little snores taking up the room, the door creaked open slightly making me tense and push my body back a bit

A lady came in rolling a cart of food, "hi-" she was about to say more before I cut her off

"Shhh" I put my finger to my lips and pointed to the two boys laying beside me, she clenched her jaw showing her teeth and mouthing sorry

I looked at her thankfully, she rolled the cart all the way towards me and grabbed a bottle that was on it, she opened the bottle putting some pulled into her hand and handing them to me along with a glass of water

"For your head, and the pain everywhere else" she whispered, I nodded my head taking the pills and water

"Were they here all night?" I asked, she nodded her head "they refused to leave with everyone that came, they threatened to murder everyone here if they couldn't" my eyes widened at her words

"Damn" I mumbled, I moved a bit feeling pain in my leg

"We stitched up your thigh and wrapped up your other cuts on your palm neck and knee scrapes" she informed me, did I have that many cuts

"And there is something else, I thought I'd inform you when you woke up, you are pr-"

I heard a groan behind me and I turned my head quickly, Emilio scrunched his face yawning, I smiled watching him open his eyes, his eyes were half-open but when they saw me they widened

"Essence," he said under his breath he stood up and approached me, he immediately hugged me right making me wince from the pain "shit I'm sorry," he said

"I'll be back later" the lady smiled and walked out of the room

"No, it's ok, worth it" I chuckled, he pulled back and looked at me sadly, "how are you feeling?" He asked me

"I'm ok" I nodded my head trying to convince myself, memories flooded back to my mind removing the smile from my face

"Are they?" I asked not finishing the sentence, he already knew what I was about to ask and nodded his head

"Both?" I asked again

"None of them made it, I guess they did end up together after all," he said

"I killed someone," I said to myself, I couldn't believe what I had done I killed someone, my abuser
