Essence

I open my eyes slightly leading to a rush of pain flowing throughout my body but mainly my head, "fuck" I whispered trying to touch my palm to my forehead but to only have it stuck behind my back, my squinted eyes turned full and open and I looked down at my dirt-covered legs, I was sitting in a chair, my hands and legs were tied

I looked down to see my feet were Bare, strands of hair fell covering my face, great I can't cover it cause my hands are stuck

"I see you're awake," someone said I'm the darkness. He's making this dramatic for what I already know who it is, I rolled my eyes and laid my head back

"Why are you hiding in the darkness the fuck" I scrunched your face, Vain walked forward the light exposing his body, he rolled his eyes

"You couldn't play along to make the effect scarier," he said annoyed

"After you get kidnapped a couple of time you get used to it" I tried my best to shrug my shoulders

"But also what is with you criminals and kidnapping, like I've been kidnapped three times in a total of three months, that has to be a record," I told him, he looked at me as if I was crazy for being so calm

The truth was I was freaking out, this time it wasn't a brother or someone that I loved that kidnapped me

"You've been busy I see" he raised a brow

"So have you and your bitch ass self" I rolled my eyes, truthfully he didn't scare me as much as Trevor, and I knew he'd keep me alive long enough till he got here

"Ok rude, I could have tied you up way worse you know" he replied

"Do you do everything Trevor asks you to do?" I asked him, he looked even more annoyed now, perfect.

"Psh no, no psh I'm his older brother he listens to me" he pointed to himself aggressively, brother...

"You're not that out of me anytime soon," he smiled, I groaned sitting laying my head back in the chair, please find me

My phone rang and I tilted my head to see Vain in front of me, he had drawn a chair the opposite way so that his arms were resting on the top and the back of the chair was facing me

He narrowed his eyes at me then grabbed his phone to answer it, "hey—yeah she's awake—no she's been quiet the whole time" he lied to whenever he was speaking to

"Ok see you soon" he hung up the phone

"So I've been quiet?" I said

"You're welcome I saved your ass if he had found out that you've been quite chatty he'd cut your tongue out," he told me

Memories flooded back at how mad he would get for the smallest things, why was he always so mad at everything

"I'm not saying thank you" I shook my head

"You just did" he smirked, I looked at him seriously and didn't reply back, he rolled his eyes once again

"Do you have no sense of amusement in your body" he stood up, I sighed and looked around, one singular light above my body shining onto me, and everything else was dark, if this wasn't the most cheesy cliche thing I've ever experienced then I don't know what is

I heard a door freak "honey I'm home" the voice called making my breath hitch, don't show your fear Essence

I heard a flick of lights and all around me lights shun and made it easier to see the rest of the room, Vain got up and turned around to face him
