Essence

"Hello" I cleared my throat making myself noticed by the driver in the front, he looked at me through the mirror and then looked back to the road without responding

Ok rude

"Mr driver sir, how long exactly is this ride?" I talked again, this time he didn't even look at me but kept his look straight, "the disrespect" I muttered rolling my eyes, sitting back on the seat

"He usually talks a lot" Bri whispered to me shrugging her shoulders

"Hm" I  hummed

"Here" he said quietly but still so we could hear him, I just exited the car following everyone else

We stopped in front of probably the biggest house I've ever seen, a mansion to put it into a category, it was black and dark but so beautiful, everyone was unfazed as my mouth hung wide open. I was embarrassing myself once again.

"Anna can bring Essence back to life and bring her inside"  Jacob said walking backwards to the door I playfully glared at him earning a snicker back

"I'm already back to life for your information" I smiled at him walking forward into the place, the door was huge not that I expected any less, big ass house big ass door.

"Wow" I walked in seeing the black furniture and dim lights displayed around the house, it was so fucking gorgeous, I should definitely hit up whoever decorated this place

"Let's go, Killian wants us," Zail said taking the phone from his ear and bringing it down to his side, everyone started walking along this huge hallway and I took that as a sign to follow

There were tons of people all around staring at me confused like It was weird having someone new in this house, I felt uncomfortable under everyone's stare and the smallest bit insecure, everyone was weirdly good looking, it was not normal at all, I'm telling you a cult for attractive people!

We reached a white plain door and stood in front of it waiting, I looked at all of them standing there like fools, "what's going on?" I whispered in case I wasn't supposed to talk loud

"His door is shut He's in a meeting with somebody, we have to at probably a few second or minutes, Zail said turning his head around to look at me

"But he said to come right now?" I asked confused

"We usually take longer than this" he scratched the back of his neck "he probably was giving us a head start"

"Ugh I hate waiting" Bri whined behind me

The doorknob twisted the slightest and the door creaked open revealing a beautiful girl with tattoos all on one arm, her long black raven hair flowed to her waist and her cherry red lipstick made her olive skin pop-out, her eyes were light blue and piercing into me

She tilted her head "who's this, I thought we didn't take new people" she raised her  eyebrows looking me up and down

"You know, you're actually pretty as hell, way to pretty and innocent from what I can tell" she said a smile going on her lips, is she insulting or complimenting me?

"Thanks?" I was hesitant

"You're welcome brownie" she said back smiling showing off her tooth gem on her vampire teeth which looked long enough to be a vampires tooth
