Essence

I was sitting in a chair placing a smile on my face at everyone who came to say hi to me, everyone and I mean everyone was here, Killian didn't like the idea any more than I did but not exactly for the same reason

Brianna invited everyone for a supposed baby shower. Honestly, I just wanted to sleep my feet were hurting and I was starting to get annoyed with the smallest things. Don't get me wrong I love them but I want to love them when they aren't here

"Wow Essence you're glowing," Jen said smiling at me, I smiled back "thanks," I said laughing "have you thought of names?" She asked me, I shook my head. I had non in mind and there was like one month left, they are going to be nameless whenever I pop them out

"That's a shame, I hope you pick some names soon" she placed a hand on my shoulder, I placed one of my hands over hers and smiled back "yeah I hope"

She walked away and left me alone again, I sighed leaning back on the chair, I felt movement in my stomach making me look down "I want to leave too" I whispered

"I'm going to kill myself" Killian groaned sitting beside me, I sighed and laid my head onto his shoulder "tell me about it" I whispered

"At least we're getting gifts," I said

"I can buy you whatever the hell you want who cares about that" he let out a laugh "I do!" I said

My stomach moved again I let out a sound of a cry without any tears coming out "they are moving too much today and it feels weird" I moved around in my chair awkwardly, I will never get used to this feeling

"You'll be fine, they'll be out soon" he patted my thigh twice then left it to linger, "still in your pyjamas I see" he laughed at me

"Until they come out and probably a couple of months after I'm going to be in pyjamas so" I shrugged my shoulder not caring if I'm changing there has to be a good reason, I'm not spending an hour trying to get clothes on so I can spend another hour taking them off

"It's cute even tho I'd prefer nothing," he said "only in front of me tho" he added on

"Yeah right. I'm not gonna look the same when these babies are out, and we're not doing anything for a while cause you have to wait you know that right?" I asked him

"You're lying" he gasped turning his head to me, I lifted my head from his shoulders, is he serious

"Have you not been reading the birthing and parenting books!" I asked him, I gave him a pile to read before I popped these babies out

"Of course I have" he scoffed leaning back in the chair "Killian! How do you expect to be a parent then you need to learn"

"I basically raised two perfectly good kids on my own and they turned out fine," he said gesturing his hand towards Atlas he was standing in the middle of everyone dancing, and not well

Music blasted from the speaker on the side, I turned my head towards the speaker and Bri held up her phone that I assumed was linked and was hyping him up

"I'll read them" he mumbled and got up leaving me laughing

His seat filled not Five seconds later with a smiling Emilio, "what's his deal" he nudged his head at Killian

"Who knows probably sexually frustrated" I laughed, he looked at me and scrunched his nose "ok ew" he placed his hand in front of my face

"Enjoying the party?" He asked me, I sighed "I just want to sleep but it's fun I guess" I shrugged my shoulders, he looked at me unconvinced but nodded his head

"Sure" he laughed "how are the babies?" He asked placing a hand on my tummy

"Energetic" I kept it simple, he smiled "that's good, let's you know they're alive," he said making me worry a bit

"now I'm always going to worry Emilio!" I slapped his shoulder he held his hands up in defence "it's ok! Don't worry!"

"That doesn't make me worry any less by telling me not to," I said annoyed," sorry sorry" he mumbled

"You know I love you and all..but I'm buying you and your boyfriend condoms when you give birth" he placed a hand on my shoulder

"You don't like babies" I raised a brow

"I don't mind the babies, but Pregnant you is quite annoying," he said in a nice tone, my mouth parted and my eyebrows knotted together, "that's my cue" he gave my shoulder one last pat and stood up walking away

"Ok rude" I mumbled to myself "y'all are making me annoying" I whisper yelled to myself poking at the bump "we're supposed to be in this together and you make my hormones go wild" I shook my head

"Will they know if we ditch" I whispered again, I stood up from my chair slowly, my hand on my back, "fuck me" I sighed

I looked around at everyone chatting and waddled to the closed exit of the room, I made it to the bottom of the stairs and looked up at the huge thing.. "we should build a guest bedroom"

"I can do this" I sighed, I took a couple of steps stopping cause I was already out of breath, "love? What the hell are you doing?" I head Killian behind me, I looked at the roof "don't make me go back" I pouted

His body came beside mine "don't worry I'm not, cmon you can do it let's go" he said quickly supporting my weight so it was easier

I took continued to go up the stairs stopping every couple of steps, he was patient and kept rutting for me, when I finally got to the top I put my hands up in the air," I did it" I said as if it was a huge accomplishment

"Way to go baby!" He yelled high-fiving both of my hands "now let's go" he grabbed my hand leading me down the hall

"Wait" he suddenly stopped, I groaned "Killian"

"I have something to show you," he said bringing me to a white door right beside our room, I looked at the door then him, "are we sleeping in separate rooms again or something?" I asked stupidly

"Fuck no" he shook his head "this..is the babies room" he opened the door revealing probably the fanciest yet most adorable nursery ever

"Oh my god" I squealed "perks of falling in love with a rich man" I nodded my head to myself

A huge crib was set up in the middle with a removable middle so it parted them, both sides of the cribs were different colours but it all went together so perfectly

"I love it," I said turning to look at him "I'm glad. I thought you'd be mad cause I did it without your help"

"I'm not that evil," I said crossing my arms, he raised an eyebrow at me, I'm not agreeing with him, I raised both of mine back

He scoffed but I pretended not to hear it, "as much as I'd love to say in here and appreciate this room if I don't sit down soon my feet are going to fall off" I smiled waddling out of the room, once I was out of sight of him I scrunched my face at the pain, my blisters were growing blisters

Once I got into the room and plopped onto the bed, "finally" I sighed into the duvet to tired to pull the covers over or even move

"You aren't sleeping above the duvet" he came around to my side trying his best to lift my body, he made it seem so easy, he dragged the covers over my body and kissed my forehead before going to his side and sliding in

He moved close to my body so his chest was pressed against my back "you realize it's 3 pm" I told him in case he still wanted to go downstairs again

"Ok?.." he said

"Nothing" I dismissed

*cries* it's almost over...😭😭😭😭 sad bourse sad vibes

No need to worry I will be starting the next book right after which is similar to this and a good plot line so don't despair my fellow people
