"Who is it?" Lydia asked as I looked down at my ringing phone, it was Stiles, and I was freaking out. I don't know how to lie to him, he can tell when I'm lying.

"It's Stiles, what do I do?" I sat on the edge of my seat as Lydia just raised an eyebrow at me, her head turned in my direction so we could talk face to face whilst Allison shifted uncomfortably in her seat.

"Answer it like a normal human being," Lydia pointed out and I just rolled my eyes at her, obviously that is not what I meant.

"I can't. He'll know I'm lying,"

"Give it to me," Lydia snatched the phone from my hands before accepting the call and pressing it to her ear, putting on a noticeably fake cheery voice. "Hey, Stiles, it's Lydia. Yeah, the three of us were just about to walk into a movie, uh, you know, the popcorn and..."

Stiles must've said something on the other side, because the smile disappeared from Lydia's face and her voice dropped, "Okay."

She immediately passed me the phone and pressed the speaker button so that Stiles' voice echoed throughout the car. "Okay, look, Scott and Sabrina are still hurt." my eyes widened in panic before looking across at Allison, she was just as worried as I was.

"What do you mean still? They're not healing?" my voice cracked as I imagined Stiles watching Scott and Sabrina suffer like that.

"No, they're not healing. I think they're actually getting worse. The blood's turning, like, a black color."

"W...What's wrong with them?" Lydia raised her voice so that Stiles could hear her. I listened to him scoff before speaking normally,

"What's wrong with them? I don't... do I have a PhD in lycanthropy? How am I supposed to know that?" he retorted with another one of his sarcastic comments as Allison looked between the two of us.

"We need to get them off the bus."

Lydia laughed dryly before raising her perfectly plucked brows, "And take them where, a hospital?"

"If they're dying, yeah." Allison cleared up as I took this as an opportunity to talk with my boyfriend and tell him what to do.

"Stiles, there's a rest area about a mile up." I revealed the information after a sign by the side of the road a few miles early had caught my attention. If we could stop, we could figure out what to do with them. "Tell the coach to pull over."

"Yeah, I've been trying." he sighed and I waited for him to continue, or say 'oh sure, let me just go and do that now' but instead he sounded like had given up all hope. I mean come on Stiles, these are our best friends. We need to help them. So do something.

"Well, reason with him." Allison pushed as I heard Stiles laugh slightly before lowering his voice and hissing under his breath.

"Reason? Have you met this guy?"

I sighed at Stiles' efforts and then turned the speaker off before bringing my phone to my ear and smiling to myself. "Just try something. Please."

We ended up turning into the rest area before the bus, but it wasn't long before it followed. Whatever Stiles did, it definitely worked. It did slightly confuse me when the bus came to halt and people started rushing out. Oh god, what did he do?

Lydia, Allison and I stood there impatiently when Coach's head popped out of one of the windows, spraying an air freshener in the air before yelling at the top of his lungs, "Jared, you suck! Hey, somebody grab some towels or a mop or a new bus." turns out it was just Jared. The kid who gets car sick. Way to go Stiles, well done.
