"Is every Hale just as cruel as Peter and Derek?"

"So are we gonna do something?"

                         "We could be heroes Scott"

"Are you flirting or trying to start a fight?"

                                                        "Let's be our own pack"

                                                                      "Screw you and your pack"

                                                                                    "It's over"

                                                                                                "So...are you in or not?"

My eyes darted open as we went over another bump in the road. I winced in pain as I rested my head back against the window and took in a shaky breath. I have to stop thinking. All these things I had said in the past week just kept flooding back and I couldn't stop it. I was too weak.

I heard Coach's voice yell at the front of the bus and the sound of him made my ears sting. God I don't think I can take another hour being on this bus with him.

I was sat across two seats, my knees pulled up slightly to my chest and making the pain across my back even worse. "Yo, Scotty. Hey, yo, Scotty?" I turned my pale face to look back at Stiles who was clicking his fingers in front of my brother's eyes. "Still with me?"

Not only was I super injured and had claws marks across my back and my side, Scott was too. Although the gashes were super huge and dragged across his stomach. Making it hard for him to even breathe in and out. "Yeah, sorry. Uh, what's the word?"

"'Anachronism." Of course the two of them decided to take this time to study for the PSATs, I mean I can't even think about taking a test. After everything that went down, I don't think I can ever function normally at all.

"Something that exists out of its normal time." Scott gave the definition as he rested the side of his head against the window. His eyes looked like they were close to shutting forever, and the color had drained from his face. He looked like he was dying.

"Nice. Okay, next word...'incongruous',"

"Um, can you use it in a sentence?"

"Yes. Yes, I can. It's completely incongruous that we're sitting on a bus right now, on our way to some stupid cross-country meet after what just happened...incongruous." I rolled my eyes at Stiles, the context he used it in was pretty much accurate, and it was pretty absurd that we were doing this when we should be back in Beacon Hills.

"Out of place, ridiculous, absurd."

"Perfect. Okay, next word. Um, Darach. Darach, it's a noun." I let out a deep staggered sigh before lifting myself up slowly and gripping onto the edge of the seat. I met Stiles' eyes and clenched my jaw. I didn't want to hear about it anymore.

"Stiles, I swear to god, just shut up," I moaned, gripping my side in agony as the bus driver seemed to not give a care in the world.

"We have to talk about it sometime, okay? And we're gonna be stuck in this thing for, like, five hours, so why not? Next word...'Intransigent'," I raised an eyebrow at him, since he was basically describing himself.

"Stubborn, obstinate. Just like a certain someone," I hissed as Stiles rolled his eyes at me. Then we went over another bump and I clenched my fists against the seat before a wave of immeasurable pain washed over me.
