I sat beside Lexie, staring out the window and watching dark roll around. I kept trying to put the events of last night out of my mind, but I couldn't, what if I actually killed Ennis? What would the Alpha Pack do to me? I shook my head of the thoughts and diverted my attention to my now healed wound.

Lexie had sewn up it up perfectly and then it slowly started healing, thank god. Scott was healing at the same pace I was, and now it felt like it hadn't even been there in the first place.

After the whole Isaac punching Ethan thing, we all got on the bus. Including Lexie, Lydia and Allison. Mostly because Allison and Lexie said they didn't wanna let us out of their sight. Which meant they had to leave her toyota behind. It was out of gas anyway so they really only had one option.

Now, it had been hours being on the road, and we were still nowhere near our cross country meet, which meant we had to stay overnight somewhere. How fun.

The school bus pulled up to the motel we were gonna be staying at, and everyone clambered out, one by one. My eyes scanned the dingy building and I sighed. Great, just great. In glowing red and green neon letters was the name of the motel on the side, 'Glen Capri'. Just reading the sign made shivers go down my spine. What kind of place is this.

Scott appeared by my side, followed by Stiles and Lexie who were holding hands. "I've seen worse." Scott shrugged and the three of us looked across at him appalled.

"Where have you seen worse?" I asked before I was quickly shushed by Coach. Everyone had gathered together outside the bus and he stood in front of us, keys in his hand.

"Listen up. The meet's been pushed till tomorrow. This is the closest motel with the most vacancies and least amount of good judgment when it comes to accepting a bunch of degenerates like yourselves. You'll be pairing up. Choose wisely."

I spotted Stiles quirk an eyebrow at Lexie before she smirked at him and shook her head, letting go of his hand and grabbing onto my wrist so we could go ahead and retrieve a key to our room. "And I'll have no sexual perversions perpetrated by you little deviants. Got that? Keep your dirty little hands to your dirty little selves!"

I had taken a key from Coach's hand, one that had the number "217" written on it. When I looked across at Lexie, she was staring up at the motel her mind ticking by the second. She could definitely sense something.

"Lexie?" by now most of the crowd had disappeared and gone to their respected rooms, the bus had driven off and Lexie was just squinting her eyes up at what seemed to her as a familiar place.

"I don't like this place." she muttered as her eyes remained fixated on the crumbling building. I scoffed at her comment and nodded.

"I don't think the people who own this place like this place." I retorted but she just stayed in the same position, her hands were clenched by her sides and when I looked down I realised they were tightly balled up into fists.

"I-I feel like I know it. It's just-just so confusing," I cocked my head to the side before standing at her side and linking my arm through hers. She quickly spun her head to look at me and I just smiled.

"Come on, it's just for a night. And besides I'm exhausted," I pulled her along and towards the building and she followed with slight hesitation, but in the end trusted my instincts, and we made our way to our shared room.

"I'm being serious Sabrina, there's just something about this place," Lexie murmured as the both of us laid on our backs on our respective beds. I sighed and sat up, the ancient springs squeaking underneath me every time I shifted.
