Angsty Leopika Headcanons

• Kurapika is an avid smoker, and it's Leorio's biggest pet peeve. He hates how bad it is for Kurapika, he hates the smell, he hates it so much

• Whenever Kurapika has to wear suits, it always reminds him of Leorio

• Kurapika lashes out at Leorio often. And it is beyond cruel and he knows it but he can't stop

• We all know Kurapika and Leorio have a really playful relationship/friendship that usually ends in Kurapika insulting him. Leorio feels like their friendship is so one sided and Kurapika only knows how to insult him. It kinda hurts and frustrates him that they can't have a more compassionate relationship, even just a few moments of genuine kindness

• Whenever Kurapika is having a depressive episode, he often thinks back to the hunter exam and when he met Leorio as his grounding memory

These are headcanons that apply when Kurapika's gone off the grid:

• Leorio doesn't understand why Kurapika answers the phone for Melody and his other co-workers but not him and Gon and Killua

• Whenever Leorio walks into a hospital room and sees a blonde, he's always terrified that it's Kurapika

• Every year on his birthday, Leorio hopes Kurapika will show up and surprise him but he never does

• Eventually, Kurapika's voicemail gets full and Leorio can no longer leave messages. It devastates him

• Leorio constantly checks the hunter website for any sign of Kurapika when he's gone
