Random Angst Headcanons (TW)

These aren't my best/saddest angst HCs but it is what it is
TW: hair pulling, invalidation of mental illnesses, psychological profiles (unreliable though lmao), body image issues, death

• I think the way Knov went bald is he started pulling out his hair from stress (his hair went white from fear but I think he was the one who pulled his hair out)

• I think it's pretty obvious Shoot is super shy/ maybe has anxiety, and I think Knuckle, an outgoing and loud extrovert has a hard time recognizing it. He's one of those people who's just like "just be more confident! Believe in your self!" And doesn't understand how debilitating shyness and anxiety can be. It pisses off Shoot and makes him feel invalidated when Knuckle says things like that 

• Keep in mind, I'm quite obviously not a professional psychologist, however, I'm in a college course for psychology. And, I think Ging might have Narcissistic Personality Disorder or maybe even Antisocial Personality Disorder

• The day Kurapika started realizing he was forgetting the voices of his parents/other clan members, was like he was losing them all over again and it devistated him

• Killua hates his white hair and pale complexion. Like hates it A LOT

• Zeno, who is around death literally every damn day, is super unphased by it, even by the passing of his family/friends. But when it was announced Netero died, he was genuinely sad and really confused why he was. I think he'd be sad because they were "friends" (or whatever you wanna call them) for so long, and he was so powerful that it was so unexpected that he'd die like that

• Kalluto joined the troupe to try and get some attention/worry from his parents or siblings, but he didn't and it really hurt him that they didn't care in the slightest (but he found a new family so it's all good you guys)

• After seeing how close Killua and Alluka are, Gon realizes that he really wants siblings and he's really sad he's an only child

• Kurapika really likes to draw, and he's pretty good. He'll draw the faces of his dead clan members, Leorio, Gon and Killua, Melody, etc, so he doesn't forget them

• I don't know what happened to Canary's parents, but seeing as she 12-14 and without any parental figures, I'm assuming they're not in her life. I think Gotoh became a huge father figure towards her, just like he was for Killua. Which just makes it even more devastating that he died

• Knov used to be really self assured in his looks. Like, he knew he was good looking (he totally was dont even fight me on this). But now, he is extremely self conscious of his "new appearance" and wishes he never went on the Chimera Ant Expedition

• Mito worried every damn day about Gon. She was always checking the mail box and she didn't wanna leave her house, just incase he came home early or something. She missed him so so much, and cried a lot while he was gone
