• Killua is always scared that Gon doesn't feel the same intensity for him as he does for him. Killua makes it very obvious that he cares deeply for Gon by risking himself for him often, devoting his time and energy to protecting him, and just sticking by his side. Gon, on the other hand, doesn't show his care or love for Killua as outwardly. As much as I love Gon, his actions aren't always the most conscientious and he can come off lowkey selfish. So Killua tends to underestimate his worth to Gon a lot and it's really hard to constantly go through

• Killua gets so fucking pissed when Gon puts himself in reckless situations where he could/did get hurt. Like he'll go off on him and he's like "what the fuck was that?! Did you just not care about yourself?! Did you not care about how much I'd hurt if you got hurt or even died?!?!?" Like damn you guys Killua has never been more frustrated then when Gon is hurting or reckless. Also, Leorio experiences the same exact thing with Kurapika so they legit rant to each other about their reckless boyfriends

• Killua is really overprotective of Gon, obviously- this is just a fact. But, after the CAA and after he wakes up from the hospital he gets so overprotective it's not even funny anymore. Like he offers to do everything for Gon and for the few days they're together before they split up, he refuses to leave his side. He literally stays awake while he sleeps just incase something happens. I feel like Gon would be super agitated and would just kinda go off on him that he's being too smothering. He just doesn't understand why Killua is so worried about him, he just thinks it's no big deal

• Gon is always scared Killua is gonna leave him for someone less annoying and smarter than him. And Killua is always scared Gon will leave him for someone who's more positive and happier. Basically, they're both scared that the other will leave them for someone who doesn't have their flaws or someone who is better than them

• I'd bet anyone $100 that the first time Gon hugs Killua, he bursts into tears

• When they were walking away from each other, Killua was praying for Gon to turn around and run up to him and hug him and say that they shouldn't leave each other. Gon was wishing the exact same thing
