Ava has been acting weird all day and Claire has noticed ava is sitting at her desk trying to draw but keeps messing up and claire is at her own house trying to figure out what is wrong with ava for some reason Claire feels like she has to look up and she does she sees ava stand up from her desk picks up her cup which is glass and throws it and it hits her closet that's when Claire sees that she immediately gets up grabs her phone and charger gets her shoes on and leaves ava sits back down and puts her head she puts hands her head then she thinks back to what Claire said at the beginning of their relationship

'I'm always here for you, I'm just one call or text away, middle of the night, day, whatever it is, I'll be there for you just say I need you now please come over and I'll drop whatever it and I'll be there, I'm your safe place just like you are with me' Claire says through ava's head

Ava picks up her phone and calls Claire she picks up

'Hey, what's up?' Claire asks, ava starts sobbing

'Can you please come over, I need you now please, I have something to tell you that might change our future and everything else' ava says, Claire is standing right behind her

'I'm already here' Claire says

ava lifts her head up and hangs up so does Claire, she puts her phone down on ava's nightstand and charger too, ava turns around and Claire looks at her

'You came?' Ava asks, Claire smiles she walks up to her and bends down in front of her she wipes her tears away

'I always said that I would' Claire says, ava smiles a small smile and pecks her on the lips, Claire smiles

'Come on lets talk on the bed' Claire says, she stands up and helps ava up, they walk over to the bed, ava sits in front of the pillows and Claire sits in front of her closely

'Um I don't know if you have noticed that Alison has been tired lately a lot more then usual and she knew we all knew I think that something else was going on, we all know what tired is then there's another kind of tired physically, emotionally, and mentally and that's what she has that type of tired' ava says, then she pauses because she starts crying again, she puts her head down again and Claire puts her head on ava's

'Hey, take your time, we got all night because I'm staying over tonight I already told Mona what is going on just that something that you need to tell me and that you need me right now type of night and she understands' Claire says, she kisses her on the head and ava lifts her head up too and wipes away her tears

'Good because I knew that i was going to need you one of these nights because I wash everything in your overnight bag because I don't remember if I did it after you spent the night the last time' Ava says, Claire smiles

'Even you're hurting you still think of me, not just me but everybody else too, you have a heart of gold which is one of the many things that I love about you' Claire says, ava smiles

'Thank you, even though it does sometimes gets me hurt too but i know if they hurt me once I'm not going to help them again, unless it's family and friends, I didn't say girlfriend because you're family to me and you're also my best friend' Ava says, Claire smiles and kisses her

'Ok I think I'm ready to tell you the rest of it' Ava says, Claire squeezes ava's left thigh in comfort

'Take your time' Claire says, ava takes a deep breath and let's it out

'Alison went to get a MIR done and we waited for a few days then last night she got the call from her doctor conforming that she has stage one breast cancer they found a lump under her left breast, right now they are at the hospital and Emily said if you did come over that you can spend the night she already called me in for school tomorrow' Ava says, Claire is in shock, ava looks at her
