ch. 42: Ava having nightmares

So a week later ava has been having nightmares and keeping them from Claire so Ava is in her room doing her HW and Claire walks in her room and takes off her shirt to put a new one on then Ava's phone goes off and she gets up and walks up to her desk and looks at her phone and Claire looks at her through the window and Ava puts her phone down and looks up and meets Claire's and Claire is just in her bra and jeans and Claire smiles at her then Ava smiles back at her and Claire picks up her phone and texts her

Babe is Claire and my everything is Ava

Babe😍- u look like u haven't been yourself lately

Ava looks at her phone and picks it up and reads the text her back

My everything😍- I would tell u tonight but u have that dinner tonight

Claire looks at her phone and picks it up and reads it and texts her back then looks at Ava and Ava smiles a small sad smile then goes back to her bed and now Claire feels bad then she calls Mona and she answers it

'hey, what's up?' Mona asks

'hey would it be ok if i did a ring check because something isn't ok with ava' Claire says, Mona looks at everybody who's gonna be at the dinner tonight

'ok define not ok?' Mona asks

'like not ok when you thought Caleb had a serious drinking problem, the not ok when you think somebody is scared to tell you something serious, the not ok when you think somebody is hiding something from you, that not ok mom' Claire says

Mona has tears going down her face because she knows that Claire is serious and is telling her the truth and she loves and cares about Ava and would do anything for Ava if she asks for it not because Claire is whipped its because she wants to Aria sees the tears coming down her face and walks up to her and everybody looks at them

'yeah I understand where you're coming from, stay at home and take care of her' Mona says

Claire smiles

'thanks mom, I love you' Claire says

Mona smiles

'i love you too' Mona says

They both hangs up

'what's going on?' Aria asks, Mona looks at her

'Claire had to take a ring check because she knows something isn't ok with Ava, the not ok when I knew that Caleb had a serious drinking problem, or when somebody is afraid to tell me something serious or when somebody is hiding something from me that not ok' Mona says

'ok that i can understand' Aria says

'yeah, let's tell then what's going on' Mona says

'ok' Aria says, So they walk up to everybody and tells what happened to Claire

Later that night ava fell asleep with her headphones in she's laying on her left side she always leaves the window unlock for Claire, so Claire can climb walks up the fire escapes And bends down if front of the window and looks in and sees that Ava is asleep then Claire opens the window and locks it and turns around looks at Ava and smiles and walks up behind her and sits down beside her on her left side with left shoulder on the head board and kisses Ava on the right cheek Ava smiles

'i thought that dinner tonight' Ava says, She takes her headphones out and puts them on her nightstand and turns over on her right side and Claire smiles

'i took a ring check to make sure that you're ok' Claire says, Ava smiles

'well aren't you sweet' Ava says, Claire chuckles

'only when I want to' Claire says, Ava laughs and Claire looks at her

'so what's up?' Claire asks, Ava groans and just hugs Claire's side Claire looks down at her

'hey, don't forget that I'm your safe place you can tell me anything that's upsetting you' Claire says, She kisses Ava's head

'ok will ever after I been hostage i have been having nightmares' Ava says

'about what?' Claire asks

'About being hostage' Ava says

'That is called PSTD' Claire says

'I guess this has to run its course' Ava says

'Or if get worst like therapy and medication' Claire says

'I think after you go through something traumatizing you attend to have nightmares afterwards or having PSTD' Ava says, she sits up

'What did you tell mona?' Ava asks

'I just told her I knew something was going on with you like when she knew Caleb had a serious drinking problem' Claire says, ava looks at her

'Caleb had a serious drinking problem?' Ava asks

'Yeah, i don't know the details but she did tell me that before they adopted Dylan that he had one' Claire says

'Does Dylan know?' Ava asks

'I don't think so' Claire says

'Good, I know that Dylan isn't a baby or a child or anything like that but i don't think that right now he should be told anything because of his music' Ava says

'Agreed, but if he asks anything about it we have to tell him' Claire says

'Also agreed' Ava says, Dylan is over hearing everything tgen leaves
