Its Thursday Claire has her doctor's appointment today since she's still underage until next year when she turns 18 Claire is sitting on the table and Mona is sitting in one of the chairs and ava is sitting beside her

'Do you really think that your ribs are bruised instead of crack?' Mona asks

'They don't feel that bad as they did that at the hospital' Claire says

'Didn't you say that she's walking better and not holding her ribs like she did the first couple of days' Mona says

'Yeah, I thought that it was weird when she wasn't' Ava says

'Now you know what I mean, that's why i hate going to hospitals sometimes because they give you the wrong diagnoses' Claire says

'I know, remember when your mom had that small heart attack?' Mona asks

'Let me guess she didn't have one' Claire says

'Nope, just a spasm' Mona says, Claire just shakes her head

'Oh my god, i have to get blood work done next week I'm afraid they are going to put the needle in the wrong vein' Ava says

'Do you want me to come with you?' Claire asks

'No unlike you I'm a big girl' Ava says

'Yeah but you need a parent to go with you, you're still underage' Ava says

'I know that but I'm talking about holding somebody's hand when the needle goes in' Ava says

'Don't worry about me, worry about your eyebrows' Claire says, Mona puts her hand over her mouth

'Go feed your ego, I'm busy' Ava says

'Hold on, I'm trying to imagine you with personality' Claire says

'But you don't have one' Ava says

'Oh go to hell' Claire says

'Yeah but that means I have to see you and Jeremy down there too, thats not fair' Ava says

'Wow, is this how you guys are when we're not around?' Mona asks

'Pretty much, we try not to go over the line, sorry about the eyebrows one babe' Claire says, ava gets her mirror out from her bag as she looks at her eyebrows

'Actually I have to get them done anyways' Ava says, Claire looks at Mona

'See what i mean?' Claire asks, Mona laughs, ava glares at her, So the doctor comes and checks Claire to see if she's improving and she is like Claire said it's just bruised ribs it will take three to six weeks to heal

Later that night at ava's studio ava is laying on her bed on her stomach in pain from cramps then Claire walks in the front door ava give her a copy of her key Claire shuts the door and locks it

'Babe?' Claire says

'In the bedroom' Ava says, in pain, Claire walks in her bedroom she drops her bag on the floor beside a chair and walks up to her

'You ok?' Claire asks

'No, cramping bad' Ava says, Claire smiles, she puts her hands on the bed and leans down

'What can i help you with?, mi Amor' Claire asks, ava left's her head up and they are inches apart from each other's lips, ava smiles

'Yes, some medicine it's in the cabinet in the kitchen beside the stove, please and thank you' Ava says, Claire smiles

'Your welcome' Claire says, she kisses her and leaves to go get the medicine, she comes back with it and some water too, and ava is sitting up now

'Oh yeah I forgot about the water, thanks' Ava says, Claire hands her the stuff

'Your welcome' Claire says, she lays down beside her

'So this blood work that you have to get done, is it just normal blood work or not?' Claire asks, ava lays on her side and looks at her

'Ever since I got shot in the shoulder I have to get blood work done every six months' Ava says, Claire feels guilty about that

'It should have been me' Claire whispers

'What should have been you?' Ava asks

'Who got shot at' Claire says, she wipes her tears away and looks down

'Mirame porfavor?' Ava asks, (look at me please?, I hope I said that right), Claire looks at her

'There's nothing that you could have done, we was scared and frozen at the time, there was a gun pointing at us, trust me if we was in the same situation at this time right now I know that you would have done it' Ava says

'It probably would have hit you even if I tried because of our height difference' Claire says

'That too' Ava says

'But still I should have done something' Claire says, ava smiles

'You will next time, if there is a next time' Ava says

'I hope not' Claire says

'Me too but in the world that we live in anything can happen' Ava says

'That is true' Claire says

'In the meantime can i use my sweet girlfriend's body heat as a heating Pad because these cramps are killing me' Ava says, Claire smiles

'Anything for you babe' Claire says

she kisses her and lays down the right way on her back and ava lays on top of her not her bruised ribs and eventually ava falls asleep and Claire kisses her on the head and smiles at how bless she is to have ava and everybody else in her life
