It's the next morning at Mona's and aria's house Mona is in the kitchen with Claire and the others she just got done telling them what happened last night

'So now mom has two jobs?' Claire asks

'Yup' Mona says

'You don't seem happy about it?' Dylan says

'It's not that I don't like her being a cop also, I just don't like her keeping it a secret, we're not in high school anymore, ever since we got together i have told her everything' Mona says

'Did you do or say something that made feel like she couldn't tell you right away?' Ava asks

'No, not that I know of' Mona says

'If I was you I could talk to her before she leaves' Claire says, with that Mona leaves to go upstairs

Aria is getting ready for work then Mona walks in

'Hey' Mona says, aria looks at her

'Hey' Aria says, she goes back to what she was doing

'Listen I'm not mad about you becoming a cop, I'm just mad that you kept it a secret for about almost a year now, my question is why?' Mona asks, as she walks up to aria

'Well I tried to tell you but everything that was happening in Florida and here I didn't get a chance too and when things did calm down your job became more busier we just didn't have time to talk anymore' Aria says, she sits on the bed and Mona sits beside her

'Yeah I have been lacking in the communication department' Mona says

'in a way no, I think we both knew that marriage was going to have their ups and downs, it just happens sometimes to lose communication' Aria says

'True, what about writing?' Mona asks

'Well I'll still being that from time to time if I have a chapter in mind then I'll write it down but right now I'm having writers block' Aria says

'I heard writers block was bad, is it?' Mona asks

'Yeah, it is because you don't know what to write about and then you get frustrated because your boss wants a deadline' Aria says

'So for right now writing a part time job?' Mona asks

'Yeah in a way' Aria says

'You're probably still in training right?' Mona asks

'Halfway done actually' aria says

'We good now?' Aria asks

'Yeah we are, come on breakfast is ready and no i didn't make it the others did' Mona says, Aria laughs and heads down stairs all smiles for now

later that night at Caleb's and Lucas's loft Emily, Mona, Spencer, and Lucas are talking about how to trap 'A' then Hanna and Caleb walks in arguing they stand face to face they didn't realize that they are there

'Jesus Caleb how stupid can you be' Hanna says

'look I said I was sorry Aria knows that I'm sorry, jenna knows that I'm sorry

'yes we all know that you're sorry but why did you shoot at Aria for?' Hanna asks

'I didn't know it was her ok I forgot how small she is I thought it was a rat' Caleb says

'ok but rats don't scream out in pain when you shoot them in the shoulder' Hanna says, everybody looks at them

'you did what!?' Mona asks, She grabs a knife as she walks up to him

'if you did anything I mean anything to hurt Aria I swear to god I will hurt you' Mona says,he backs up against the wall and points the knife to his chin then Aria and Jenna stands in the doorway and sees what it is happening

'oh god, Mona!?' Aria says, She runs up to her and stands in between them

'babe look at me' Aria says, Mona looks at her

'I'm ok now just had me the knife please' Aria says, Mona smiles an evil smile and looks at the knife and hands it to her and Aria hands to Jenna and she takes it Mona looks at Caleb

'You're lucky she's here to save you' Mona says

'so what actually happened?' Emily asks

'I guess I was moving around too much and Caleb thought that I was a rat and he shot me but I moved out of the way it just scrape the side of my shoulder though' Aria says

'We thought A was in a building because we saw a black hoodie person running into it' Caleb says

'Why is being a cop so stressful' Mona says, they laugh, they work on a plan to catch A
