Present

Today is the day of Token's party. You're very nervous because you know that there is going to be a lot of people— he's a friendly and popular guy, after all. You wonder how many people there are going to be and how they'll react to seeing you... will they talk to you? Will they look away in disgust?

You really shouldn't be worrying about this sort of thing right now, though. The thought still stays in your mind, but there's something more important to be concerned about: what to get him as a present. You don't know him too well and what do you give a kid that has just about everything? You can't just give him a card with money in it because you know he has way more than you could ever give! What do guys even like? Video games? Food?

... Cologne! Cologne would definitely work and you know that Token would like it, since you know he uses it. He doesn't just smell like soap, like Kyle, or nothing, like Kenny. You'll have to figure out what kind would be best for him when you get to the mall.

You sling your favorite bag over your shoulder and make your way down to the mall. You haven't been in this place till now, but you find yourself pleasantly surprised at the inside. You glance around, humming in interest. You're really only here for Token's present, but you don't think it'd be much of a big deal if you were to look around a little.

Oooh, is that a Hot Topic? That's one of your favorites for band tees and some anime merchandise, if they have any. You wonder if they've got anything new that you can buy... you begin to approach the store, but pause when you notice two groups arguing rather loudly in front of the store.

"Don't you take one more step towards this establishment!" The leader of the right group hisses (quite literally, at that). "We won't hesitate to use our powers on you!"

"Oh, bite me, Mike. We both know you're too much of a pussy to do anything," the other leader scoffs, leaning on his cane a bit. You suspect that he doesn't even need it, but hey, it's probably an aesthetic choice.

Speaking of aesthetics, the two groups are a bit similar. The guy on the left has a black trench coat with a white dress shirt and black pants. On one of his ears is a gold cross earring. The guy on the right dons a black jacket and shirt with a deceased bird on it, gray pants, and fingerless gloves. Half of his hair is dyed a lime green color. You can assume that this is goth kids against the vamp kids. It's a shame that they can't get along.

"We won't let you burn this place down again!" A girl with silver hair on the vamp side shouts.

"You can't stop us!" The only girl from the goth side shoots back at her.

"Uh, excuse me," you interrupt them awkwardly.

Both of the groups look at you with furious gazes that make you feel like you're two feet tall. You know that they're angry with each other, but you didn't even do anything for them to take their anger out on you!

"If you're trying to be the good girl conformist—"

"Then butt out of it! You're not going to make us stop feuding!"

Jeez, you weren't even trying to keep them from fighting. You've learned that in your short time of being in South Park, you can't fix old rivalries and enemies no matter how hard you try.

"Actually, I wanted you guys to move out of the way so I can go into the store, thank you very much." You scrunch your nose in annoyance, your hands on your hips.

Silence befalls the two groups and you half-expect them to move so you can actually get inside. It doesn't happen, though. Instead, their stares grow less angry and more... confused. Confused by your presence, confused by how you don't care about their spat.
