As much as Clark wanted to watch Wonyoung practice, he didn't want to creep her out. So he decided to go straight home unless something happened on the way. He stood up from his chair after the bell rang, fixed his things, and tidied up his table before leaving.
As he was about to leave, his homeroom teacher called.
"Mr. Lim, can you come with me for a second, please?"
He nodded his head and followed his teacher. He was clueless, like his classmates, who watched him walk behind their teacher.
"Why did Ms. Kang call him?"
"Maybe he's not for this school?"
"Eyy, don't say that you're just insecure."
All sorts of opinions filled the classroom. Meanwhile, Wonyoung didn't care at all. She finished fixing her stuff and immediately left the classroom. She was greeted by Yujin, who was waiting for her outside of their room.
"Unnie!"
"Let's go?"
Wonyoung nodded. They left the school and are now on their way to their entertainment company to practice.
"By the way, our teacher found out about you practicing in the school instead of the company."
Wonyoung's eyes widened, and her heart started beating fast.
"R-really?"
She stuttered. Wonyoung is afraid of their teacher because she's too fierce and strict. Yujin nodded and showed her the text message she had received from their teacher.
"Tell Wonyoung I have to talk to her later; it's about her practicing in your school."
Wonyoung felt tensed after reading the text. She stopped walking, afraid of what their teacher would say to her when she got there.
"Don't be too nervous; I'm positive that teacher won't be mad."
Yujin encouraged her. She caressed her back, giving her comfort, before they continued walking.
Meanwhile, Clark is smiling in front of their homeroom teacher. He doesn't know why he's there; either he did something wrong or there's a concern with his enrollment.
"Mr. Lim, according to your report card, you've won several awards for playing the piano."
His homeroom teacher said
"Y-yes, Ma'am."
He answered.
"So it's settled, then, that practical music is your major. So you don't have to attend other major classes."
He nodded at his statement.
"If you have questions, you can approach me. You can go now."
Ms. Kang smiled at him before changing her focus to the computer on her table.
Clark walked from the faculty room to the front gate. He passed by their room and saw no one but the cleaners assigned for the week. He was hoping that Wonyoung was there, but she wasn't. He left the school and headed straight home, content that he and Wonyoung were in a class together.
He hopped on the bus and sat on the farthest seat on its right side. He logged on to his Stan account to burn time until the bus arrived at the bus stop near his apartment. He scrolled through his timeline and saw a tweet that caught his attention.
"W*nyoung is just beautiful; she has no talent at all."
Anger started rushing through his blood after reading the tweet. He closed his eyes, preventing himself from raging. After gaining control, he went to the tweet and replied.
"Here's the link to Wonyoung showcasing her "talent" that you said she doesn't have."
He replied to the tweet. He then turned off the notifications and wore his earphones. He listened to music throughout the ride home.
2 hours later...
Wonyoung and Yujin finished their practice session for the day. Wonyoung was happy because their teacher wasn't mad after finding out what she did.
Flashback
"Wonyoung, come with me."
Their teacher called. Wonyoung turned to Yujin, who mouthed, "You'll be fine," and smiled. Feeling light, she followed their teacher outside.
"Wonyoung."
"Yes, Ma'am?"
Fear can be seen in Wonyoung's eyes. Her expression was not typical of her usual jolly self.
"Cheer up, Wonyoung-ssi."
Her teacher smiled. Wonyoung's eyes widened; she looked at their teacher with confusion, which made their teacher laugh.
"If you think I'm mad, then you're wrong. I'm not mad at what you did. But don't do it in the future because it's your responsibility too."
Their teacher said both of them went back in with a smile on Wonyoung's face.
Flashback ends
Wonyoung and Yujin hopped on different buses and parted ways. They kept talking on the phone to entertain each other until one of them arrived home. Wonyoung entered their house and saw her mom and dad watching television together. She went to greet them with hugs and kisses before going up to her room.
After finishing her evening routine, she lay down on her bed and figured she had spare time to check Twitter while waiting for dinner. Scrolling through her timeline, she saw a tweet replied to by user "Wonyoung Jjang." She clicked on the link and saw all the videos that showcased her dancing and singing to IZ*ONE songs and Produce48 songs live. She was surprised, knowing that the IZ*ONE members had websites created by their fans.
She clicked and watched the videos she couldn't remember, and she couldn't help but smile. She was enjoying herself so much that she didn't hear her mom calling her to dinner.
"Knock! knock! knock!"
as soon as she heard the knock on her door. She immediately stood up, leaving her phone on her bed.
"Coming!"
She shouted and went to open the door. She went down with her mom to eat dinner.
While having dinner, Wonyoung was smiling while eating her meal. Her mom and dad looked at each other, clueless about what made their daughter so happy.
"Baby, you seemed so happy; what's up?"
His dad asked.
"WIZ*ONE created a website about me and the unnies as well."
She smiled.
"Oh, is that why you're happy?"
Her mom, to whom Wonyoung nodded in response,
"Is there something wrong?"
She asked, noticing her parents were being weird.
"We thought you had someone you liked; that's why you're smiling."
Wonyoung was surprised after knowing their parents would think that way.
"Mom! Dad!"
