2 hours later...
"Bye Noona"
Clark waved goodbye before exiting the practice room. He and the girls had fun for the past two hours even though they were just talking with each other. It was almost like an examination that Clark was taking considering all the questions that the girls had asked him. He enjoyed the day so far and is hopeful that the girls had fun too. Well except for us maybe.
He is currently walking in the hallway with Wonyoung, she asked him earlier if she could accompany him to the exit which he accepted without questions. And now, they finally had some alone time together.
"Are you okay? You were quite earlier."
He asked while constantly glancing at her. Ever since the girls started talking to him, he noticed Wonyoung was not her usual self.
"I'm fine maybe I'm just tired."
She answered. He nodded to what she said but it does not mean that he buys her reasoning. He noticed her looking at him earlier but there was something in her eyes. It was like when you did something wrong to a person that you have no clue about and were given that look as a sign. So he decided to catch her off guard.
"Tired of looking at me like I did something wrong?"
He asked. Her eyes widened, surprised at what he said. He noticed her reaction and smiled.
"What do you mean? I didn't look at you like that."
She said, denying her friend's accusations. Her stuttering sold him out, she was scolding herself for stuttering in the wrong situation.
"So that was your normal stare?"
He chuckled at his question. She gave him a glare which he later just laughed off.
"That, is that a normal stare?"
He asked before chuckling again. Wonyoung didn't answer, instead, she just nodded at it wanting to move on from the conversation. After walking for some time, they finally arrived at the exit.
"I should go now, bye!"
He smiled waving his hands at her. Wonyoung returned the smile and waved her hands at him. Clark noticed how she acted and was not happy about it. He stops walking and doesn't want the mood of his day to end with saying goodbye to Wonyoung who looks unhappy. So he went back to his tracks and surprised her with a hug, making her eyes widen.
"What are you doing?"
She asked. It was sudden but Wonyoung's usual self went back after she felt a spark in her spine after receiving the hug.
"I am sending you energy because I don't like seeing you in this sad and gloomy state."
He said breaking the hug.
"Are you okay now?"
He asked again smiling. His hands were holding her shoulders tightly. Wonyoung gave him a nod assuring that she was okay before shooing him away.
"Go! I still have to go and practice."
She said while her hands were shooing him away. He smiled and waved his hands once more before turning his back to leave. She then turned around and fanned herself, feeling a little hot after her best friend hugged her.
"Wooh, that was different."
She said before she started walking. She arrived at the practice room and was welcomed by 11 pairs of curious eyes.
"What?"
She asked. Feeling cautious.
"I sense something."
Eunbi said. She raised both of her eyebrows nervous that maybe her unnies saw Clark hugging her earlier and that they would tease her all day long.
"It's nothing, we should go back to practice."
Eunbi smiled and went to the computer to play their song to practice. Wonyoung sighed in relief thinking she was clear of her unnie's teasing games before going to her position for the intro.
On the other hand, Clark is now riding a bus after catching one straight home. Ever since he walked out of the girls' company building, he had been nonstop reminiscing and keeping the memory of him talking to the girls on replay. This is one of the best days in his life according to his book. He thanked everyone and everything, especially his dad for allowing him to live with him in South Korea which led him to meet his favorite idol group.
Another memory that he keeps on replay was the time when he went and hugged Wonyoung out of nowhere. He was amazed at himself back then now that he's reminiscing it all. But his happiness got caught off when I wild idea of him ruining their friendship crossed his mind.
"Did I do the right thing or not?"
He asked himself after realizing that what he did to her might have endangered the friendship they had. He went full dramatic mode, wearing his earphones as well as closing his eyes as he listened to the music that he was playing while drowning himself with the thoughts inside his mind.
30 minutes later...
Clark got off the bus and began walking towards the direction of his apartment. After all the thinking that he did earlier on the bus, he finally came up with his solution for now.
"As Skyes said, I'll let the future me handle it because I'm older which means I'm wiser."
He stopped and quoted. He laughed at himself and continued walking home.
"Ding"
The sound of the elevator rang. Clark arrived at his apartment's floor and began walking towards it after the elevator doors opened. He walks past a room that was once empty but now is filled with furniture with boxes still stacking on top of each other.
"New neighbors, maybe?"
He thought. He continued walking and punched in the code after he arrived in front of his apartment house.
"Mom! I think we're going to have me-"
He stopped talking after seeing new faces in their living room.
"Oh hi Clarky, you finally arrived."
His mom said and gave him a kiss cheek.
