"Wonyoung!"
Wonyoung's mom called, knocking on her bedroom door. She just came out of the bathroom and was drying her hair when she heard the call.
"Yes, mom?"
She answered and then turned her head towards the door after hearing the door knob click.
"What time will you be coming home later?"
Her mother asked.
"5 maybe? It depends on our teacher Mom."
She said while she continued drying her hair. Her mom took the hair dryer from her and volunteered to do it instead.
"Mom, I can handle it, aren't you busy?"
She said holding the hair dryer. Her mom clicked his tongue which made her let go of it immediately.
"I'll send you the address later."
Her mom said while drying her hair. Her eyes widened after hearing what her mother said.
"Are we moving today?"
She asked. It was obvious from her eyes that she was excited about them moving to their new house.
"I want to go there with you but I our debut is near so we need to practice more."
She pouted, Her mom stopped drying her hair noticing that all of them were already dry. Her mom then smiled seeing her daughter pouting.
"It's fine honey, your debut is important."
Her mom said and she nodded, agreeing with her mom's statement.
"Plus, you said that your best friend is going to meet your members right?"
"It'll be a shame if you postpone it."
Her mom added.
"Oh right."
Back to the present...
"Sir? Ma'am?"
Clark asked. His eyes were wide open, in disbelief seeing his best friend's parents inside their house.
"They're our new neighbors."
Her mom said. Clark was frozen like ice, he was just standing there not uttering any sound probably because of the thought that Wonyoung would be his neighbor.
"Clark you being rude, greet our guests."
Her mom scolded him.
"It's fine Mrs. Lim, Clark is just surprised to see us here."
Wonyoung's mom said.
"Mom their Wonyoung's parents."
He whispered. His mom gave her a look doubtful of what he just said.
"Sorry if I may ask sir and ma'am, does Wonyoung know about this?"
He asked, curious if his best friend was an accomplice to this surprise.
"She does know about us moving houses but she doesn't know where."
Wonyoung's mom said.
"Thank you."
He smiled and gave a bow to both of the guests. He then asked permission to leave so the adults could have their own time. He went to his bedroom to drop his things and went back outside.
"Mom, I'll be outside."
He told his mom and also bowed down to the guests who she was having a conversation with.
"Okay calm yourself down, Clark."
He breathed in and out deeply. Talking to his reflection inside the elevator he just got on.
"Wow, I can't believe it. This seems unreal, it's like everything is falling towards my favor."
He let out a deep breath again, realizing how lucky he is right now.
"What do I do? Come on think Clark."
He told himself, asking for any ideas to be able to capitalize on the revelation he just got.
"What if I pretend like I just pass by around here or something?"
He told himself. His eyes widened, thinking that it was a great idea.
"But first, I need to tell Mr. and Mrs. Jang first about my idea."
The elevator sounded, which meant that he arrived on the ground floor. He then went and clicked on the button on the floor where his house was so he could ask Wonyoung's parents the favor.
A couple of hours later...
Just like what Wonyoung told her mom earlier in the morning, she would be done by 5 PM. She just left the building and was walking on the sidewalk when her phone's ringtone sounded. She stopped to check it and saw that she received a text message from her mom.
"Hey honey, are you on your way? Book a cab and show this address, we'll pay for the fare."
"Here's the address, **********************"
After reading the message, she opened an app and booked a cab right away. It was so obvious that she was pretty excited to see their new house because of the look on her face. She was smiling, looking bright as ever.
After some time, the cab arrives. She went to confirm if it was indeed the cab she booked before hopping inside it. The driver was a lady, she had a girl crush theme with her look which Wonyoung thought was pretty cool. Wonyoung showed the address to the driver who inputs it right away on her GPS.
Wonyoung relaxed on the passenger and was starting to imagine what would their new house look like. She didn't get to see it because she had practice when her parents went to check it out. She also forgets to ask for pictures from her parents which she regrets every time she remembers it.
The lady driver puts on music before stepping onto the gas pedal. Wonyoung immediately noticed the song that was playing. She was surprised to hear IZ*ONE Panorama playing in a cab.
"Wow."
She mouthed in silence. She then leaned back resting her head on the headrest of the chair while looking outside the window, humming to their song playing on the background. Her mind was still busy imagining their new house when suddenly she thought about her best friend Clark.
"Oh right, I should tell him about it later."
She said, reminding herself to not forget about telling Clark about her moving houses.
Meanwhile, Clark is already prepared waiting just right outside the building's parking space. He knew that cabs could only drop their passengers off at the front because of the security. He knows about it because he sometimes uses a cab whenever he's tired of riding a bus back home.
He waited for about 30 minutes, hiding behind the small cottage where the security guard stayed during their errand. From a distance, he spots a cab that potentially has Wonyoung as a passenger. He then starts to prepare himself to completely fool Wonyoung.
