"What do you mean?"

"I know why you think that your confession is too late. It is because you thought that there's something going on between me and Chaewon."

"But there isn't, trust me."

Wonyoung can't believe what Clark just said. She's doubtful whether he's telling the truth or he's just like Hyunjae who cheated on her and he is doing it to Chaewon.

"Clark, if you're planning to cheat on Chaewon unni. Then you're just as trash as those guys who cheated on their partner for their own pleasure."

"What pleasure? What are you talking about?"

"Don't even try lying to me, it's very obvious that you and Chaewon are dating. Ever since you came back, unni became different. She's more happier and inspired than the past five years that you were gone."

"Every member have already noticed that she's currently dating someone. The phone calls, her actions, her frequent dates and the way she dresses on each one."

"I became curious to know who this person is and was definitely surprised after knowing it was you. I saw you and Chaewon unni talking last month. Her smiles were genuine and I can tell that she's really in love with you."

Wonyoung ranted out, Clark can see in her emotions that she's frustrated and jealous.

"And earlier in the party, unni only had her eyes locked on you. She always laughs at your jokes, does everything to help you even if it's the small things. The other members might not have seen it but I did."

She continued.

"Wonyoung."

Clark wanted calm her down, after seeing that she's obviously fuming mad.

"Don't touch me! hahahahaha You're disgusting!"

Wonyoung slapped Clark's hand after he tried to grab her hand.

Clark was hurt, this pain was different from what he received five years ago. Rejection is different from being pushed away because of a false claim. Her statement rang inside Clark's ears, which made him take one step back away from her.

"I can't understand you. I don't know if you really like me or not. You always believe in what you don't even want me to explain what's really going on between me and Chaewon.

"I'm so tired of trying to consider what you always feel. I'm done with this way of life. You just proven to me that loving you was the biggest mistake I ever did."

Clark turned around and left the terrace, he walked past his friends who were still sleeping and left the house without notice.

Wonyoung on the other hand was still frozen on her place. She did not expect to hear those words from Clark, it was short but was enough to touch her heart. She then heard Clark's car leaving the house, it was too late for her to remember that this what exactly happened five years ago where Clark almost caused a massive crash.

"Where's Clark? Eunbi unni said you're with him."

Wonyoung turned around and saw Chaewon walking towards her.

"He left unni."

"What? Why? Isn't he drunk?"
