Next day...
"Hey you still owe me a bonding date."
Wonyoung was sitting in the sofa when she received a message from Clark. She groaned after thinking that chatting with him until late at night would be enough to make it up to him.
"Right now? Where?"
She replied.
While waiting for his reply, her mind wandered of to her "questionable memory" and took another look of the dream that she had about her and Clark kissing. She shook her head and quickly went for a glass of water.
"That didn't happened, why would my mind think of that?"
She said. She can feel her heart beating so fast and tried to ease it by putting her hand on her chest.
She went back to her senses when she heard her ringtone sounded.
"Where are you right now?"
He asked.
"I'm in the dorms."
She replied.
"Do you have any places where we can talk without disturbance or paparazzis?"
She smiled after reading his message, she's happy that Clark hadn't changed after three years and still takes care for her.
"In the company building? I mean YOUR company."
She stood up and went to her room to choose her outfit that would fit the date, "friendly date". She opened her closet and chose two short dresses, a plain white one and a checkered one. She laid the two dresses on top of the bed to differentiate which one is better.
"What are you doing?"
Yujin emerged from the door.
"Oh, I'm choosing a dress for me and Clark's hangout today."
Yujin's quick thinking helped her caught up with the situation.
"This is not just a simple hangout."
She thought, a smirk formed in her lips as she went closer to the youngest member.
"Need help?"
She offered, putting the most convincing smile she has to convince Wonyoung.
"Thank you unnie."
Wonyoung replied.
"I think this one is great."
She pointed on the plain dress with long sleeves. Wonyoung looked at her with a "are you sure" expression written on her face.
"Trust me, you look good in everything but this one suits for this occasion."
Yujin winked at her. Wonyoung hit her unnie before thanking her and giving her unnie a smile. Wonyoung's phone lit up, which means Clark replied to her message.
"Hahaha, okay I'm on my way now. I'll message you if I arrive."
"You should change into these now."
Yujin gave her the dress she recommended which Wonyoung gladly took before going inside the bathroom to change into it.
20 minutes later...
Clark arrived in his father's company, he already informed his father about him meeting Wonyoung inside the company to keep both of them out of trouble. His father praised his smart idea before giving him a good luck for their "hangout".
His parents already knew about him liking Wonyoung, he told them before he left to study in the states. They were proud of him when he opened up about it. They even praised him for finding a girl like Wonyoung who they think is perfect for a girl to love.
In present, he went straight to the cafeteria and waited for Wonyoung to arrive.
"I'm here, I just arrived."
He messaged her and went to order their favorite drinks as well as a small cake for both of them.
"I'm almost there."
He sat on his seat and read the message.
"Okay, take care."
He replied before he opened up his SNS account to browse for any updates.
Not long after, he noticed an angelic figure going towards his direction from his peripheral vision.
"Hello."
He looked up and saw how stunningly gorgeous she looks in a white dress.
"Hi."
He mentally slap his consciousness back to himself to hide the fact that his still in love with her.
"You look gorgeous."
He complimented. Wonyoung smiled to her best friend's compliment. She's used to his compliments back then but this time hits different.
"T-thank you."
She stuttered. He was so speechless that he forgot about what will be their agenda for the day.
"Sir here is your order."
The waiter served them the two drinks and the cake.
"Thank you."
He went back to his senses and thanked the waiter.
"So..."
She said. He raised her eyebrows, signaling her to continue.
"How's life in states?"
She asked. He sat up straight and tried his best to not get swayed by her beauty.
"Well, it's not bad, everything there is great and it won't be bad to live there again."
He said. She looked at her eyes and was convinced that he's sincere with everything he said.
"How about you? Well I know your idol life because keep updating myself about your activities as an idol."
"I want to know if you're doing great for yourself."
He said. His question was to specific that she has no other way to dodge it.
"I'm having a dream which I don't know if it's a real memory or not."
She said without hesitation. He looked at her expression and noticed that she looked sad.
"Why? When did it start?"
He asked.
"It started after you left."
She said. His eyes widened after hearing what she said.
"Are you comfortable enough to say it to me?"
He asked. She just lowered her head, thinking that she'll end up hurting him as it looks like it's a bad dream for her.
"It's fine, you can say it to me whenever you're ready."
He smiled.
"For now, let's enjoy this day for ourselves okay?"
He said giving her his signature eye smile. She nodded in response and took a sip on her drink.
"Is there an arcade place near hear?"
Clark asked. He wanted to keep Wonyoung from thinking about her bad dream and thought that playing arcade might be a good idea.
"I don't think there is."
She said.
"Aww, hmm. What about the beach, do you want to go there?"
He asked. Wonyoung's face lit up, indicating that she's up for it and she would love to do it. Clark knows that it'll be risky but it's a one time thing only, just for her to be happy which is his priority.
"Okay let's go."
He said, letting his future self think about the consequences.
