"Ughh"
Clark groaned.
He looked up and found himself in the side lanes of the highway. He successfully avoided the moving van but almost crashed into the concrete barrier of the highway.
"I guess it's not my time yet."
He thought.
He then heard someone knocking on her glass window which he opened the window to talk to.
"Are you okay?"
"Yes sir, thanks for asking. Sorry about the driving, I was not feeling well."
He explained.
"Well, good thing that no one got hurt and nothing is damage."
"Again, I'm sorry for what happened. I should not have driven that fast."
He apologized.
"It's fine, we should learn experience so we avoid this kind of scenarios."
Clark went out of his car to apologized properly, the other driver was already fine with it but Clark insisted. He did 90-degree bow to the driver and apologized once again.
"What happened to your nose?"
The driver asked after seeing a dark liquid running down from his nose after he stood straight up.
"Huh?"
He touched the liquid and realized that it was a blood. He has no chance to react to it as he immediately lost consciousness and fell to the floor. Luckily, the guy was able to support his head from hitting the ground hard.
"Help!"
The driver called his companion to help Clark. They then called for emergency for him to be treated to the hospital.
. . . .
"Mr. Lim?"
Clark woke up after hearing the call, he slowly opened his eyes and saw the bright ceiling light around the room.
"Where am I?"
He asked.
"You're in the hospital right now, you were rushed here earlier by the people who saw you lost consciousness."
"You had a concussion in you head which caused you to loose consciousness, but don't worry everything is taken care of now. You just have to stay for a week to recover then you're free to go."
"Can you remember anything that happened l earlier?"
"All I remember is that I dropped off my friend in her place and drove straight home right away."
He said unsure of the last bit.
"You have a short memory loss because of the concussion, you should rest now so we can run more tests for you tomorrow."
Clark nodded.
"Can I please call someone?"
He grabbed the nurse's hand as she was about to leave.
"Yes sir, you may."
The nurse handed him his belongings, and thank goodness that the people who helped him was able to bring the phone to him.
"Hello my friend, it's already late why are you calling?"
"I'm in a hospital right now. Can you come here?"
