My Idol Girlfriend

Next day...

Clark woke up early for his apprentice work, he wanted to keep his focus on work but his mind keeps on remembering what happened last night.

"I like you and I want to be your girlfriend."

He glanced to his phone and went straight to it. He then searched up Wonyoung's number to try and message her. But his hands were too shaky, causing him to dial her phone instead.

"Oh gosh."

He quickly hit the cancel button to stop the dial. But it's still going to register to her that he called this early in the morning.

"Wony is my girlfriend right?"

He asked himself in the mirror.

He went and re-read their conversations last night before they went to bed to convince himself.

"Good night 😚"

And with that message, Clark melted like an ice cream on the ground. He still can't believe that him and Wonyoung are finally dating. He's always wearing a smile and is always in a good mood, but after he knew about their feelings for each other being mutual his smile and mood have become ten fold better.

"Good morning, I'm going to work now. Don't forget to eat breakfast."

He left a message before grabbing his briefcase and leaving his own place. He went inside his car and starts driving towards his dad company which is a 45-minute long drive from there.

He arrived at the company, looking as happy as ever. His dad was surprised after seeing how happy his son is.

"What's wrong with you?"

His father asked.

"Nothing."

He smiled before putting of his briefcase on his table. He began taking on all of his work while wearing the smile that was a result from what happened last night.

Meanwhile, Wonyoung woke up with the sound of her phone alarm. She reached for her phone which is on her small table beside her bunk bed and tried to navigate to the stop button to prevent it from snoozing.

She sat up and rubbed her eyes, she glanced to where her phone was and takes it. She saw a notification of Clark's message. Which immediately reminded her of the confession that unfolded yesterday.

"Are you blushing?"

Her roommate, Yuri, asked.

She cupped her cheeks to hide them from her unnie.

"Who messaged you that got you blushing early in the morning?"

Yuri teased.

Wonyoung immediately hid her phone from her. She does not have the courage yet to tell everyone that she and Clark are now dating.

"N-nothing unnie, I just read a tweet from a fan complimenting me."

She reasoned out, hoping that Yuri would buy it.

"Hmmm, okay."

Yuri replied but she didn't bought her alibi.

"Chaeyeon unnie called, we're going to have breakfast now."

Yuri added before going out from the room.

Wonyoung sighed in relief, she then unlocked her phone and navigated to the messaging app to read Clark's message.

"Good morning, I'm going to work now. Don't forget to eat breakfast."

Unconsciously, a smile formed from her face. Maybe because it's Clark's message as her boyfriend or maybe she's just happy overall.
