"DEFEAT"

was flashed on the screen. His smile faded, and then he proceeded to give himself a beating.

"Ouch."

He whispered. He then read his teammates' chats on the post-game screen, and they were not good for mental health at all.

"Sorry, I had someone important to respond to."

He replied before leaving the lobby. He closed his eyes after feeling them hurt a bit and decided to call it a day. He paid for the time he rented the PC and left the place.

"Where should I go next?"

He asked himself. He started walking while thinking of what he should do next. He then saw people gathering in one place, making him curious as to why they were gathered. He went and checked it for himself to answer his question.

He saw a guy dancing to K-pop dances and immediately thought of Nihoo, the YouTuber who's a dance instructor. He enjoyed watching the guy dance while also looking at other people who were watching. He looked to his left and right and saw someone who caught his attention. He looked at the girl closely, who resembled someone he knew or had more recently seen through videos.

"Chaewon, noona?"

He said. He was quite unsure because of the black face mask that the girl was wearing. The girl removed herself from the crowd, which Clark followed. He looked around, eager to see the girl up close to check if his assumption was real.

"I swear she looks like Chaewon Unnie."

He said this and continued searching. He was so busy looking for her that he didn't notice the person he was going to bump into.

"Ouch!"

The person said he turned around and saw a girl on the ground. His instincts kicked in, and he helped the girl up.

"I'm sorry, I bumped you."

"Are you okay?"

He asked. He then looked at her closely and realized that she was the girl that he had been looking for.

"I'm fine."

"Watch where you're going next time."

The girl said that after hearing the girl's voice, Clark is now convinced that it was Chaewon that he bumped into.

"Wait."

He said it right as the girl was about to turn around. The girl looked into Clark's eyes, confirming his assumption.

"Chaewon noona, is that you?"

He asked politely. The girl was surprised by his question.

"I'm sorry, I don't know you."

She said.

"Oh, sorry, I'm Junwoo. I'm a fan of yours."

His introduction made the girl stop turning her back. She stood frozen, looking at him, surprised that he recognized her even if she had a face mask on.

"How did you recognize me?"

Chaewon asked.

"I was a fan since Produce 48, so..."

He said he was holding his nape.

"Ohh."

She replied. They were quiet for a minute until Clark talked.

"Noona, should we go to a cafe?"

He offered. It was hard for Chaewon to decline after seeing his eyes. It was like a spell was cast on her after seeing it.

"Sure. But for a short time only, okay?"

She said. Clark nodded and began walking away from the crowd. They decided to go to Starbucks, as both of them were familiar with the menu. Clark offered to pay for their drinks and went and ordered them. He then went to the table where Chaewon was sitting.

"Noona."

He called. Chaewon looked at him.

"I forgot to tell you, I'm Wonyoung's friend."

He said. She looked at him with doubtful eyes, thinking of him as some creepy fan.

"You don't believe me?"

He asked, and his directness surprised her.

"It's not that."

She stuttered.

"It's fine."

He chuckled. He then showed her all the photos that Wonyoung and he had taken together, as well as photos with Yujin on them.

"You believe me now?"

He smiled. Chaewon nodded and gave him his phone back.

"Did Wonyoung not tell you guys about me?"

He asked. Chaewon was about to answer but was cut off by the staff.

"Venti Mint Choco for Ssamu and Clark."

The staff shouted.

Clark excused himself from Chaewon to take their drinks. She followed him with her eyes until he came back with both of their drinks in his hands.

"Here, noon."

He gave him her drink and sat down.

"What were you going to say again, Noona?"

He asked.

"Nothing; it was about the drinks."

She said. They began talking and talking until it was time for Chaewon to leave. Clark insisted on dropping her off at her stop before going to him. They both exchanged goodbyes before Clark left to go to his bus stop.

On his way there, he checked his phone and saw Wonyoung's reply.

"Thank you; let's hang out tomorrow after class."

The message says

"Okay."

He replied. He then put his phone back in his pocket and waited for the bus that would take him home. After half an hour of waiting, he finally got on a bus to go home.

Last day of class...

The last major class of the academic year has finally ended. Students bid goodbye to their classmates, who might not be their classmates again for the next academic year. Other students made last-minute confessions to the person they liked, which made the day interesting. As for Wonyoung and Clark, both received love letters and confessions from their secret admirers.

"Cute."

Wonyoung said while putting the love letters into her bag. Clark didn't even bother checking one of them and just straight-up dumped it inside his bag.

"Let's go?"

She asked.

"Where?"

He responded.

"I don't know, Han River, I guess?"

She suggested. Clark gave her a shrug in response. Yujin then emerged from the side and shouted,

"How about karaoke?"

Clark and Wonyoung looked at each other before agreeing to the table elder's suggestion.

"Let's go!"

Wonyoung shouted. They then left the classroom and went to the nearest karaoke place to begin their private concert.
