Third person's POV

Vantra swung her staff that the Efriit made a backhand swing of its claws that eliminated several Dark Elves Crap! We must retreat! Realizing the odds stacked against them, the Dark Elves started retreating. Vantra frowned for she heard one of them say Let's leave the rest to Queen Relia, she'll do the rest.

Izanami asked aloud Is anybody okay? Any casualties? A few responded of being wounded badly that their mages aided immediately by using healing magic. Izanagi stood beside her brother We should go in and search for the princess. Even though Kiyan and those with him are already inside, it's still a needle in a haystack finding her in this place.

You're right. He commanded those who are able to battle to join the search.

Kiyan reached the top of the stair where the number of Dark Elves are guarding a door, comparing to how many of them were on their way to the place, one can tell that it still needs a master swordsman to break through. Also considering that several mages are with them.

The Dark Elves saw him Here they come!

Wait, he's just the only one! Get him!

The mages lined up and pointed their staff at Kiyan, chanting until spell insignias appeared and fired dark rays towards Kiyan!

He only grinned at this...

The spell attack hit him directly, a loud explosion erupted and a cloud of dust shrouded from the spot!

Hah! There's no way he'll survive that! As the dust slowly dispersed, the mages gasped in surprise No way! Before them, with his right hand raised forward, stood Kiyan Arcadia!

Kiyan slightly sighed I was worried a little there. He drew one greatsword Let's do this then! He crouched and dashed forward in top speed!

F-Fire again!

The mages quickly finished their chants and bombarded Kiyan with magical attacks again but he zigzagged his run and the attacks missed. A dozen Dark Elves drew swords and headed for him with the intent to kill.

Kiyan swung his greatsword with both hands at one but the Dark Elf attempted to block his swing - not only the sword broke but also slashed the opponent once to death. Another Dark Elf made a horizontal swing but Kiyan ducked the attack, spun, and slashed the Dark Elf in half.

With brute force, he met them in a frontal assault - he easily slashed through two opponents, he then made an acrobatic frontflip when another two opponents attacked him, one blade nearly grazed his hair. He forced his body to spin like a top, grabbing his other greatsword, he cleanly cut their heads off.

As he landed, he saw three more incoming - he threw one of his greatswords but the Dark Elf managed to dodge it...

...but, unfortunately, the thrown greatsword pierced on one of the mages!

Kiyan dueled with several opponents at once that he made swift and agile movements. As one Dark Elf leapt towards him, he blocked his downward swing with the broadside of the greatsword. Kiyan forcefully pushed the weapon away in a parry...

...his eyes gleamed for he's expecting the next move.

The Dark Elf swung his weapon at him again but Kiyan ducked, made a counterclockwise spin and slashed through the abdomen! Kiyan's attackers are taken aback for a moment for being a fellow swordsman, they witnessed such flawless kill. They started thinking that Kiyan is a swordsman of a higher level than them.
