A Spring From The Past

Kiyan's POV

I'm on my way home from my night scout. As I pass by the arena, the place is still quiet but I know that later in the day, it would be filled with trainees.

I then remember I wonder if Chief recieved the letter of my request?

I continued walking when I sniffed a quite familiar good scent of freshly baked bread that smells like rosemary This sure remind me of my old town, this odor always waft in the early morning air. It smells like Kitara's homemade bread.

Back in my old town, Janus and I are not the only childhood friends, we have another one named Kitara. She used to hang out with us and has a small business of selling sweet scented bread, their family business is known to our town that everyone, including Mom, would buy from them.

Aeromir's POV

I recieved a letter from Kiyan, written in it is his first request but what he wrote made me speechless.

Erica came in and brought me a cup of tea What's wrong, Father? You've been staring at that letter for quite a while.

Well, I just read a letter and I'm having a hard time believing it.

She put the tea on my desk and also read it, she also exclaimed Seriously?! I don't know if he's being reckless or an idiot! 

I stood and walked to the window He did requested it and it might be an interesting one. Let me, at least, give him a shot.

Janus' POV

I firmly strapped the sling of my swords Miss Liliana, I'm off to scout! She's in the kitchen, washing the dishes Okay, take care!

I met Kiyan on my way out Good morning, Ki', how was the night scout? He said sleepily It was boring, it's better for me to walk around than stand on the wall and just watching.

I pat his shoulder Cheer up, you'll be sleeping soon. I immediately scouted the Clan on foot - Kiyan is right though, just standing on your feet until your scout is over is boring because when you scout the Clan by walking around, you have a partner to talk to than just standing alone on top of the wall.

And my partner for today is Elsa.

I waited for her on the Clan plaza then she arrived with a bag of bread. I grinned What's with the bread? Your breakfast isn't good? She replied shyly I woke up late that I have no time for breakfast, so I just bought some on the way here.
